With a direction to go, the lot of them started up towards Route 1. Ezra couldn't help but grin as they walked, looking at their surroundings. The temperature was much more desirable than Alola, and it felt so... peaceful.
"Excuse me, miss! Miss!!"
Ezra turned to face whoever was calling, and the lady seemed to be running straight towards her, with Sunny leading the way. Ez blinked, bending down to pet Sunny as the lady caught up. "I thought you were right behind us! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to leave you behind," she apologized and kissed the top of Sunny's head. The Leafeon purred in response, and turned back to face the lady who'd finally caught up. Ezra stood and looked, and was astounded to see the lady was holding two eggs.
"You finally found your Trainer, looks like. Phew, am I glad! Your Leafeon had these two eggs with her on the train. She clearly didn't want to leave them, but was looking for someone - you," she panted, handing the two eggs over to Ezra. "There you are - I gotta get back to the train. Have a nice day," she called as she jogged back towards the train station.
Ezra blinked between the eggs in her arms, and Sunny who sat happily in front of her. "Uh... when did you... Who... What?" Sunny simply let out a happy bark and wagged her tail. Ezra sighed with a grin. "Well, I can't exactly say no, can I? Alright, let's get you two.... I'm gonna have to carry one of you, only one can fit in my bag," she murmured to the eggs as she did just that. "Alrighty, as I was saying - we're headed North," she chuckled as Sunny trotted next to her, being a protective mama already.
