When you file a ticket for this, the best drop-down to use would be “Issues with items/gold.” While not the most accurate for the problem, out of the available options it’s the best one to use to describe the issue. Hope that helps!

Very interesting question! This is not necessarily the case though! Many NPCs have different personalities and birth signs that may or may not be related to the CI release date.

Hello Gaia Staff!
I have a question about a possible snowflake charm glitch. When the Bitter Slumber event was going on, I collected around 72 charms on the main event page. But on the Go Fusion page, it said I collected 99 charms. I don't remember getting an extra 20 or so charms from the Daily Chance either. Thinking how many charms I had in Go Fusion was the amount I collected, I used them already to craft items. But if a glitch did occur, can I somehow give the items I crafted back? Also, did a glitch in my Snowflake charms occur? It's been bugging me for a while now. sad

This may have been due to a glitch with the inventory arranger and game items. We're looking into a fix for something like this. In the mean time, go ahead and file a ticket with this information and we can look into fixing the charms and items for you if there was a problem.

I believe this was because we had stopped supporting it, or there was a bug with the prize grants. It was very long ago though, probably around... 2004?

Hi there, the artists involved with the creation of these items are currently unavailable to able to get to fixing them, so I've looked into the situation for you and the items should be equippable together now. Crystal the Angelic Cat has also been modified accordingly.

Could you give us a sub-forum for posting quizzes? We have one for posting games, it would be nice to have one for those long posting quizzes. There are still a lot of people who do them for earning gold and getting the elocutionist achievement. It would be nice to have them in the forums again, now quizzes are mainly done in guilds where they can have forums dedicated to them so no one has to worry about them being buried by other non quiz threads.

I know that Gaia is based in the US, but why do we only celebrate the usual holidays?
I never understood why we couldn't pick a random holiday from a different country once a year to celebrate.
I mean this is the internet and we have people from all over the world visiting this site every day, I think that this would be nice to do.
It would be fun too, it might ever draw more people into the community.
Yes I know that the summer event was centered around Japanese culture, but I'm asking for an annual thing not a one time thing.

Why do you keep re-releasing other monthly collectible items instead of the DJ Studio Headphones?
DJ's are rarely re-released while other 03's are being put in sales and RIG's.
DJ's are popular and they look really nice, but they are heavily inflated.
I think it would be nice if you could put them in RIG's and sales more often.

For codemonkey or anyone else who knows, I have a question concerning Towns 2.
The virtual spaces are by far my favorite part about this site, ever since the original Towns came out. I've been wondering:
Would it be possible for Towns 2 to start at the map screen (or the train station like in the first Towns) so we can pick and choose where we want to go? I love the fact that you're adding zOMG areas to the map, but since Gambino Isle is the default place you go when you enter Towns 2, that's usually the most populated area, with places like Barton being a ghost town.
I also noticed one difference between Towns and Towns 2 is 2 doesn't have a 'housing map' where we can see where people are hanging out, like the directory in Towns 1. At the very least, just being able to see how many people are in all the areas would be very helpful and inviting to explore areas others are hanging out at. I myself prefer less crowded areas, and usually get along better with people sittin' all by themselves :]
Thanks for keeping up with AtS, and I have noticed a decrease in announcements and the marketplace deflating a bit. Credit where credit is due. Thanks emotion_brofist

However, we all know the queue is moving extremely slowly. And for those of us who have to quest our butts off just to get a single Ticket, then wait for weeks just for a first response, it's disheartening to see other users getting handfuls of Tickets approved at a time.
Is the Gaia Staff considering taking any action on this, such as putting a 'throttling' system in place, where a person can only have a certain number of Custom Tickets in the Custom work queue at a time, and must wait for those to be released before more of their Tickets can be approved? Or does Gaia have a reason for sticking so hard to the rule of "first come, first serve"?

At this time we don't have plans to limit how many tickets any Gaian can submit as it's pretty easy to circumnavigate this rule. However capping how many tickets you can have in queue at one time sounds like a good idea so we'll discuss this further and work on implementing it.
We're also looking into ways to make the whole process faster.

We've actually done a ton of research into this and ultimately all offers will have a failure rate to them and not pay out. In a case like this, simply file a billing ticket and we'll take a look into it for you.

The Angelic Bracelets where originally a one handed item. Along the way gaia changed it so when equipped it displayed on both hands is there anyway to go back to one or add the options back to choose to wear one handed.

Unfortunately, there's no plan to change the Angelic Bracelets. The single-handed equip was originally a mistake in the item's coding. Sorry!

Hi there, if I'm reading your post correctly (asking for Gaians to contribute artwork to chance items), the answer is no, we do not plan to ask for user-created artwork for CIs.
This wasn't my question, but would you mind elaborating on your answer? That is - why not? There are some amazing artists here on Gaia, and I think things could be better if you let users participate sometimes to this degree. Like, perhaps holding an art contest where a RIG/CI would be made based around a submitter's original work or sometihn!
There are legal issues surrounding using a non-Gaia employee's original creations. However, we have done CI features in the past, such as the Christmas Tree CI, that utilized fan-created artworks of Gaia's existing intellectual property. I hope this answers your question!

Sure! We've given out tickets as prizes in previous contests as well as put them in Chance Items in Loyal's Bazaar. We'd definitely love to do it again so keep a watch out in the future.

About the zOMG Summons...I know straight making them an equipped item is out of the question, but maybe a halfway point is an option. Would it be possible to make the Summon Stone itself an equippable item (Like a necklace or handheld pose with just the stone) that then activates an option in Towns 2 to allow your Summoned buddy to follow you like in zOMG? Something like where in Towns 2 if you have the item equipped it enables a button on the bottom bar the lets you choose whether to activate the Summon or not, like the Kneeling button and others. It'd probably take some time to work on, but I can see it being possible. If it works out well enough, you could even branch the idea out into other items, and possibly future items.

Well you see, if you opened all of these items at the same time, its combined synergistic effect may be so powerful that your inventory might spontaneously combust! For the safety of all users and their highly flammable inventories, we will not be able to add functions to open multiple CI items at this time. Or, at least until we find some way to fire-proof the inventory system.
[Seriously, though, they've said before that they tried to make this happen and the strain crashed the server. -Platonix]

I'm not really sure when we ever had chance items DAILY with new items? O___O I think the only way we can pull off new item CIs every day is if the entire art team became robots! New items take a long time to make and artists need to sleep, so we're taking our time to make sure that each new item is something interesting. Thanks for being patient.

Like, rather than buy yourself GC, you can gift to a friend an amount if you don't know what items in the shops they want [Due to no Wishlist or something]. Sort of like a gift card.
There are times when my friends want to give me GC or I want to help them but we can't without exchanging Users and Passwords for Paypal and that's a bridge no one wants to cross.

Would it be possible for us to get Twin Tails for both Humans and Paws, that go just past the shoulder in a Darker Purple such as the hair in: Monsieur Blackberry Macaron or Sparkling Neighbor, even the purple I am wearing now....Some nice Dark Green(since most of the greens in hair RIGs seem to be the lighter greens, especially the Tea Green) or other Dark Colors would also be nice.

If there is a paw only Chance Item around when the recolor is done it would be preferable to have it there. However I wouldn't want Jak to wait forever so it may end up being in a human only CI.

I’m ignoring the Snowflake glitch for this question and posing it for the future, when it has been resolved.
Would you please consider putting Ifrit the Adolescent Dragon or any Fafnir the Adolescent Dragon recolors into GoFusion? It would be a nice way to use up large sums of Snowflake charms. A lot of us were collecting in hopes of selling or trading... and just having items that cost 1 charm doesn't always help us to get rid of them now. (Personally, I just want the item and I wasn’t willing to shell out the cash for it. But others might find it a handy way to get rid of a lot of those pesky charms at one time in one lump sum of charms*.)

I've been asking in the item fixing forum thing too much and nothing happened. There's a bow and chopsticks in the back when I use Agape's cut it's supposed to go AWAY. It goes away in the front but not the back. Items used:

The artist who made this item has already been notified of the glitch. Please be patient while it's looked into; the back view might not have enough layers to remove the hair extension decoration, so unfortunately this issue may not be resolved, as a fair warning. Thanks for your patience!

We don't have any plans at this time. It's also a technical issue as we can't prevent someone without a Centaur/Zurg base to equip Centaur/Zurg only items so it wouldn't layer correctly on human bases.
