 Ma-Ku is all settled in with his family and getting to know them so Hunter's presence isn't really needed so he decided to head off and do some more exploring on outskirts of the city because he haven't been to those areas yet. He have heard that it is more peaceful there instead of around the city so that's where he went, partially because he wanted to find a nice quiet house for Ma-Ku and him whenever they don't want to be around other people or cats.
Humming as he walks on the grassy areas, enjoying the sensation and sudden silence but he have a feeling that he's not alone but it doesn't faze him at all. If needed, he can fight or flee.. depending on the situation. Flopping down in direct sunlight rays, Hunter closes his eyes in bliss while his tail flops back and forth to indicate that he's still alert when he's recharging his battery.

 It had been some time since Evinrude had gone wandering. Today though, the clear sky was beckoning. Maybe it was time for her to find a new place? While she didn't relish the idea of living alone in such a dangerous world, she was also getting fed up with living with her "roommate," Asher. Shut a pain in the butt, he was...
She didn't want to go too far into the wild, but staying inside the city was not desired either. The thin balance of the outskirts would have to do. Evi padded through the woods, just taking note of what was where, when she came upon an open, grassy field. She paused to admire it, before she spied Hunter lying in the sun. He looked so content.. she would hate to disturb him. She smiled lightly, and tried to pass on by quietly.

Rolling over on his stomach, Hunter continues to relax more while his tail slows in the flopping back and forth and his purring could be heard by anyone nearby because it is kinda rare for him to grab some sun time alone because there would be someone that wants to share that spot with him. Hearing a faint rustling of grass and the 'creak' of twigs, Hunter's eyes opens little bit while he pretends to stretch his body out and he spotted a bobtailed female tries to pass by without saying anything.
"Mmmm... not going to say hello to me?" He says with a grin as he gets up to his hunches after stretching his body out with a huge yawn, feeling revitalized after that short nap. "I don't think we have met. I am Hunter and you are, pretty lady?" He says with a huge friendly grin while he kneads the ground little bit momentarily because he feels like it would show other cat that he's pretty harmless and just wants to chat. "Beautiful day is it? Little nippy but its perfect." He says while inhaling in that crisp air. "Ahh.. perfect." He grins at Evinrude.

Jumping slightly, Evi turned bashfully toward the male. "You looked rather content. I did not wish to disturb you." She paused a moment, but soon enough gave Hunter a small smile. "It's nice to meet you, Hunter. My name is Evinrude. You may call me Evi if you like." She sat on her haunches, ears twitching side to side. "It is lovely out; though, the chill on the wind is not my favorite thing."

"I am always looking for company to keep me occupied most of the time so you didn't disturb me at all." Hunter says with a grin while he peers at her curiously. "Evinrude.. Evi? That's a really cute name!" He says while his eyes lands on her bobtail curiously, wondering how she maintained her balance without a tail to help her out. But that's a question for other time. "Ah.. yeah..." He crinkles his nose up little bit at the mention of the wind. "I would have to agree with you on that part." He says with a quiet chuckle while his paws stops kneading the ground.
"So what brings you around to this quiet area?" Hunter inquires curiously as he wants to ensure that the female feels comfortable and safe around him because he's not that type of guy to go after females. "I come here whenever I want to get away from everything and from my personal experience, it does have an amazing sun exposure than other areas I have gone to." He says with a short laugh as he grins at her more.

A small smile lifted. "Looking for company in an empty field?" she asked playfully, though she ducked her head bashfully when he started complimenting her name. "Th-thank you.."
She looked around a little and sighed softly. "Well, to be honest, I'm.. looking for a new place to live. My ..companion.. is not the most desirable company to have. It's about time I get out anyway, no?" She pawed a little at the grass. "I'm not quite sure where I'm going, though."
