@ MOOSE :

For me, Gaia is just where the heart is.

Even if it lacks a sophisticated role-play system, it's where I first started role-playing. Plus, I grew up with the site; there's sentimental value littered everywhere... Sort of, lol.

Also, it's hella weird to write "moose." Totally not use to it, haha.

You can toots call me Strude still if you like. People will catch on.
Not sure what you want me to go with! >D

I just have no community on this site anymore, haven't for 6 years
so I just sort of come here because of the number of people. You
can always find a partner, eventually, on this site.

I miss having community on any RP site TBH.
Just something I can never slip into anymore.

Yeah, having a group definitely makes a place more inviting. I've always thought that role-playing needed chemistry between writers as much as it needed it between characters. It's so painful and so difficult to write with people I don't naturally click with. Like, ideas are always stale and development always seems to die before it can start... ):

I don't know. Maybe I'm just picking partners that aren't big on plotting or chatting or doing anything to want to keep me interested, lol.

@Jing: I agree there has to be a little something-something between the players, sometimes I feel even more so than character to character. I feel like if a group meshes well the characters and everything else sort of follows.

I get close with some groups, I did it recently, but out of the blue people just sort of "poof'd" on me. Got real quiet and things fizzled out. Sadly.

I still secretly want to do my 1 month rp story idea . . . but every attempt doesn't quiet make it! >D
