Teiyo Darian Teiyo kept his footing as the clunky ship began to rise, giving a quick glance to the cargo it's holding. Good riddance. "I've heard very little of it. More business to be done there I presume?" He walked deeper into to the ship, resting along the cargo. Turning back to face right when she grinned. He didn't notice it on the ground while it was darker in the warehouse, her fangs. Now I get it..Amivi. Oddly enough how his last coordinated mission involved him hunting down a runaway Amivi. Though the gesture to his status of being owned, he couldn't deny the fact that in anyway these weren't his terms. To get off this planet, he did say he would provide assistance with his skills in order to help in any of her endeavors. A bold move now that he had time to think about it. He'd let out an uncomfortable laugh at "Sir Mouse", not a nickname he thought he'd ever hear. "Anything I need to know? The basic rundown of these things?"

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Zhenka Amivi <><><><><><> (VI) <><><><><><> Theme Song " More or less, Pirates have been a nuisance lately.. Taking the long way means stopping for fuel, and the Amivi are fond of Dead Walk." Mainly because it gave them a place to rest near their now-dead home world.. The colony itself functioned as a sort of memorial to them. She didn't understand it personally, but for those old enough to have survived the event it seemed important to visit when they were able. Giving a faint shake of her head she pulled herself from these thoughts, instead curling her hand into a fist and raising her thumb.. absently pointing at herself with the gesture. " Mm, the Basics.. To start off I'm Amivi, I prefer Vi or Captain. This ship is known as ' The Turtle' as named by my Employer, and as you already know we are trafficking misplaced goods.. So all communication methods aside from the ship's personal transmitter are jammed. There will be no fighting or pot stirring, we are a tribe.. anyone that intentionally harms another member of the tribe is tossed out the air lock." The last bit was a little harsh despite her laid back posture, the softest hints of authority and latent aggression lacing her tone as she locked her gaze with his. She'd dealt with spies and agents before, he wasn't either of those things.. but he was not trusted yet, and she wanted him to understand how thin the rope he was trying to walk could be. " I don't really care why you wanted off planet so badly, that is your business.. But I would like to know your name."

Teiyo Darian Amivi, I knew it. Those fangs.. Describing the ship and it's contents, she would go on as he would look around, noticing every detail that it held. Old on the outside, old on the inside. He knew this line of work was all too dangerous, the slightest leak of information would put everyone onboard in danger. Teiyo understood her seriousness to the situation wholeheartedly. "Noted, though you have nothing to worry about.. No one to contact anyway. His eyes looked passed his visor and back at the door. The only one worth mentioning was his mother back down there, somewhere. They had spoken once or twice since he was wanted. Their last discussion was less than heartfelt and touching for a mother and son interaction.
He couldn't tell whether the threat seemed serious though he wouldn't question it. "It's not very big, just that my "branch" didn't really care for hybrids. They needed something from me that would surely kill me, I said no." He paused for a moment, friends just following orders betrayed him nonetheless like it was meaningless. "Teiyo, my name."

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Zhenka Amivi <><><><><><> (VI) <><><><><><> Theme Song " Teiyo." Lowering her lashes the female leaned forward, a quiet thump sounding under the heel of her boots as she drifted past him.. pausing long enough to tap the side of her fist against his armored chest. " You were not wrong." The way he explained it, so matter-of-fact, what a pain he was turning out to be.. She could ignore the weepy whiney types, but the strong? She didn't dislike his character and that was irritating. It would make it harder to air-lock him if he did something unwise. There was nothing wrong with surviving.. those that dished out such cruel orders rarely understood the depths of what they were saying, or worse they knew and still didn't care. She really.. hated that sort of power. Not that she expressed such things well, her posture and expression were the picture of indifference.. A habit she'd picked up from her own time taking orders. " I'll tell you what.." Flexing her wrist Vi gave a second knock against his armor, a vague smile curving her lips as she continued. " Forget 'Teiyo', you can resume that life if we make it to the lunar colony.. but I have no use for a killer or a military dog on this ship." It was harsh perhaps, but she'd never been one to baby others. Let him forget, even for a little while, and the distance might help him in the long run.. If he survived. Whomever he had defied like that likely didn't take the rejection well, and considering the culture she'd just plucked him from..? Yeah.. He would have to adapt quickly if he wanted to live. " You're my Mouse; A liar, thief, and scoundrel commonly known as 'Smuggler'.. Say it so I know you understand. "

Teiyo Darian She spoke briefly as his mind focused on other things. Re-telling, even very brief moments of his events brought him back to the destination. The months of hiding out, only making contact to the trusted few when necessary. One big test.. He thought, if only he got off with it being that easy. Teiyo shook his head, bringing himself back to the present. The knock on his armor kept him aware of things. Vi's smile discouraged him, almost like he knew she would say something that would throw him off. Asking him to forget he was didn't connect well with him. Despite the hardship, he's learned a lot in solitude. "You make a good point, I'm in a new environment, one where my old customs would most likely not be appreciated in the multitude of scenarios to come." His instinct to kill, to fight, his job back on Suldar wasn't important on this ship with Vi or her crew. Teiyo relaxed himself, looking down at the ship floor. His left hand met with his helmet, tapping at the sides. The compression around it released and it would open up at several corners. The helmet fell off of his head falling to the ground until he caught it before impact.
Bright yellow eyes met with her's, Teiyo focused on her demands. '"I am your Mouse; a liar, thief, and scoundrel commonly known as 'Smuggler'." The title was enough to make him cringe, but he felt he would get the mouse treatment a lot more, no reason to fight it. "How long do we have till the destination is reached?

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Zhenka Amivi <><><><><><> (VI) <><><><><><> Theme Song " How long until the destination is reached.. Captain. Six clicks to Dead Walk, three more to the Stratos Lunar Colony.. Assuming we have no trouble along the way we are looking at two months including the three days rest to refuel." Vi corrected, holding that alien stare.. as a wealth of amusement filled her expression. He'd actually said it.. Oh, but it was going to be a fun trip home. Giving a quick, yet attentive, scan of his features she quirked her brow at her new employee's question. He looked so off balance, obviously swallowing his discomfort, and the subtle bravery of this wasn't lost on her. She couldn't help but to throw him a bone... and let him know that he wouldn't have to endure this for too long. " When we get there, if you keep your word and help us, I'll introduce you to Boss. Whatever you aim to do with yourself after this, she'll likely help you to repay your service. Keep a stiff spine and a clear head until then." The ship gave a soft creak as though relaxing as it left the planet's atmosphere and Vi gave a mental laugh, sympathizing with her old ship as Suldar shrank into the distance. It always stressed her out down there as well, having to restrict herself like that.. It just wasn't in her nature to be so repressed. " Report to the Mess, introduce yourself to my XO Shane.. He's a big human, Mohawk, can't miss him. He'll assign your sleeping quarters. Rest while you can, tomorrow you start on the maintenance crew as a lifter and aid." Shaking her head she openly dismissed Teiyo, giving up her new toy in favor of attending to her responsibilities as Captain. Her expression serious she left him to his task, her shoulders squaring as though she were walking into a battle field as she prowled towards the ship's command deck. Space wasn't a place to play around, she had to navigate her ship, cargo, and crew to safety. -------EXIT-----------
