Two years ago, we had a show where all woodwinds set down their instruments and joined the guard by spinning 10 flags with huge red silks. Well, the woodwinds went from the front sideline, jazz running to the back of the field, and one judge was caught between some brass and a running woodwind, the flute section leader. This was on the tape:
"Wow, this is an amazing effect! The color that fills the field is astounding and the work is- WHAT GAH HOLY ****!" *crashing and thuds* *tape turns off*
We're always told to do what we've always done, even if a judge is in the way! So our flute section leader plowed down a judge! Hah.
xDDDDD You made me lol.
I am looking forward to the day when I can plow over a judge like I'm told to,(and leave a funny mark on the tape xD) but we hardly ever get field judges in our competitions. Our band probably isn't big enough.
Every now and then we get a judge that will sit silently for the longest time, only saying stuff like "Good... yup... yeah..." x_o
And once we could hear a judge asking somebody to get him a Pepsi or something. xD
I wish I could remember more. ;_;
