Akakios shook his head when his brother asked who is 'them'. Did he think that the villagers would let him go? Not send someone to hunt him down and bring him back? He almost laughed but then he was being tackled from nearly behind. It sent him and the centaur flying towards Ylli.
He heard the other taur running over but they would be too far away to tell who was responsible for what happens next. He twisted his body slightly sending a shoulder into Ylli. That wasn't really what he wanted but it put his knife hand in the right spot to plunge the knife into the side of the centaur who had tackled him.
He drove it in deep, going straight for the heart. He gave it a twist and listened to the centaur gasp in pain. The taur was dead before they hit the ground. He then made sure Ylli was also under him and centaur. Now the taur running towards them wouldn't be able to tell who had done this. He pulled the knife free (ditched the knife's case near Ylli's feet) and then cut himself along his side making it look like Ylli had been holding the blade and tried to stab either of the taur. He then put it back where he had stabbed the centaur and began to scream.
"HELP! HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME! OH MY GOD I THINK HE KILLED HIM!!!!!"

He scrambled as the pair came toward him, loosing his breath once again as the weight fell onto him Then he felt the wetness, and the warmth, and then the smell... Not blood again... His whole body trembled as he turned to see where he'd been hit, but it wasn't his own blood. When he looked into the glassy-dead eyes of the centaur, he felt like he would vomit. Not again. So much blood. No! "Akakios. Why..?"
Gasping in a panic, he looked up at his screaming brother. Wait, what? His eyes darted between his brother and the villagers. "No! I-!" Akakios was bleeding though... and the bloody knife was by his own hands... "Aka! Damn it!"
Panic fully set in again. The villagers stood at a distance, looking on in confusion, trying to figure out what was going on. He was covered in the centaur's blood, and Akakios was bleeding and screaming... "No!" Holding back the pain, he pulled himself out from under the heavy body and ran. Again, he was running. Running from his brother... Running from blood, and death, and hate.

Akakios continued to scream for help ignoring his brother's words. He felt his brother pull out from under him and turned to see him running away. Not the result he had aimed for in the beginning but this would only help prove Akakios' innocence and Ylli's guilt.
When the other taur reached him Ylli was too far away for them to pursue him. Akakios wept over what had happened and blamed Ylli for this centaur's death. He explained how he was tracking his crazy younger brother down for the murder of their younger sister. The villagers believed him. After all why would an innocent taur run. And what taur would cut themselves to make it look like another had done it?! No Ylli was crazy and guilty while Akakios was the poor victim here. The villagers led him back to the village to get medical attention while others remained to take care of the dead body.
