She was going to do it. She was going to leave the house, but how? It wasn't like the door had been left open. The more she thought about it the more she thought they had to be coming back, after all why would they leave her there with the door closed? Did they want her to die in the house? It seemed unlikely, Angela's parents had been good to her while she was there and she knew the little girl wouldn't want her to die. Still, she needed to find a way out. Just in case.
Walking around Lexi finally noticed that one of the back windows were left open just enough for her to maybe fit through. It would be a tight squeeze, but she knew she could do it. She hunched down and started running towards the window, jumping at just the right time to get her claws into the window sill. Pulling herself up she squeezed through the window and jumped down. She was out of breath but looked back, sure that she would be able to get back into the house later on.
Looking back towards the road she wondered what to do now. Now that she was out, and pretty sure she could get back in, what did she do? Where did she go looking for food. "This is going to be harder than I thought..." she muttered to herself as she walked towards the sidewalk, trying to see if anyone was around. If they looked friendly maybe she would ask for help, and if not... Well she would go back into the house.

 One moment, she was lazing around on the beach or trying to find that exclusive oyster that have a pearl that would make her into fishmaid (mermaid) then next moment, she found herself in the neighborhood without remembering why she came here. Humming quietly to herself, the teenage female walks down the sidewalk with her fluffy tail swaying back and forth behind her to the rhythm of her strides and her bi-colored eyes glances into the fenced areas occasionally to see if there are any cats around.
Tucking some of her dark brown hair behind her ear, Sanaz smiles to herself while humans is gawking at the turkish angora cat wearing neon colored decorations (to human's eyes) and she pauses when she sees a wrinkled and fur-less cat looking like she's not sure and lost while approaching the sidewalk. "Hey you!!" Sanaz calls out cheerfully as she trots up toward the wrinkly cat excitedly and crouches down to her level. "Whatcha doing?" She cocks her head to side curiously as she places her hands on the ground to give herself more support. "Running away from your prison?" She grins as she chews on the bubble gum.
Pop.... pop....crack.... pop
Sanaz tugs little bit on her neon blue beanie that is hanging askew off her head and she looks at the wrinkly cat. "Did your humans shave you or what? Can I touch you and see how soft you feel because you look really soft like velvety.. almost like those flying bunnies... they are really soft." She trails off as she thinks about those imaginary flying bunnies she think she saw. Some would think she have been dipping into catnip...

Lexi was looking around when she heard Sanaz call out in greeting, and since she didn't see the cat she jumped in surprise. As Sanaz walks closer to her she takes a step back, not having been around any other cats since she was young. And this cat... Well she's different... She's wearing such bright colors and her eyes are two different colors. Her tail's so fuzzy as well. Even though Lexi knew that the girl in front of her was a fellow cat, you would never tell from their different appearances. There was also the fact that she wore no collar, unlike Lexi's black studded one.
She was taken out of staring at Sanaz by the cat's next two questions. "What are you eating?" she asked as she watched Sanaz's mouth. She had never seen something like that. "And my home isn't a prison, and I'm not running away. I'm just... Exploring." she said cautiosly. Although she wanted to get to know more about this other cat, she didn't want to give everything away. Plus exploring was what she was doing, she still had some hope that Angela would come back for her soon.
The next few questions made he worry for the cats sanity. Maybe she should have ran when she had the chance, but this cat was olde than she and she didn't think running at this point was a good idea. Might as well just answer the questions asked of her. "No one's shaved me, I'm just like this." she looked back at her skin. Were there no other cats like her out there? "What flying bunnies? And sure you can touch me..." she said not sure if that was the best thing to say. "As long as I can touch your fluffy tail." she had fluffy toys back in the house, or rather she had, but she had never seen such a fluffy tail. She almost was envious.

Crack crack pop crack pop pop
Sanaz chews on the bubblegum and blew several of bubbles while looking at the wrinkly naked cat with a smile on her face before replying with "bubblegum. You ever tried some yet?", not taking in the account that Lexi is still in a cat form so that means she probably couldn't chew bubblegum. "It is really delicious. I think I have another stick somewhere in my pocket if you want to try one." Her tanned hands is already rooting around inside her electric purple jacket with neon orange stripes on it. "I swore I had an extra one here somewhere...." She mutters half to herself as her fingers continues to search around for one.
"Not a prison?" The teenager girl frowns at the wrinkly cat in confusion. "But did they take you from your cat family? Like.. kidnapping you without your permission and stuff." She cocks her head to side and looks at the female, not remembering how she got taken away from her family but it must have been really traumatizing to the point where she suppressed it. "Oh.. you see those flying bunnies out there?" She points to the crested birds. "See? flying bunnies!" She smiles at the female eagerly before she blinks at her counter offer. "You.. want to touch my tail?" Sanaz says as she looks over at her overly poofy tail. "Ok. Fair trade it is!" She reaches out slowly and strokes the wrinkly cat's back, her eyes widening in delight.
"You are just like a velvet! You are so soft..." Sanaz purrs happily as she brings her tail around so Lexi could touch it. "What is your name, Miss Velvet?" She grins excitedly as she chews more of the bubblegum, her temporary quest of finding that gum is long forgotten as she eagerly pets Lexi. "So soft... but do you get cold without all of those fur? Its winter right now, ya'nno?"
