Meredith looked up at the sky as she laid on the hard ground, bleeding from the back of her head where the fall had had her land. The red liquid stained her already red hair, splayed around her as if to cushion her fall in vain, a deeper shade of crimson. As the blood pounded in her head, she thought back over her life. She remembered playing soccer with some of the boys in her class. She usually won, too. She remembered talking with her best friend about boys they liked. She remembered lots of things, but nothing really seemed to matter right then. Tears welled in her red eyes, reflecting the harsh sunlight on her dark skin.

She was alone, and she would die here.

"Oi, you alive? Ooooooooiiiiiii!"

The girl's eyes fluttered open, and turned blearily to face the person standing over her. She slowly took in his short blue hair, and matching blue eyes. She blinked a few times and sat up, wincing. "Who are you...?" She asked the boy.

The boy grinned lopsidedly, his eyes taking her in. "Well, you're not half as dead as you look, are you? What're you doing all the way out here?"

The girl closed her eyes. "I... What am I doing out here? Come to think of it, who am I?" She opened her eyes, looking up at the boy - her red eyes seemed to beg for answers.

But the boy's mind was already racing, racing with ways to mess with the girl. It was cruel, but he didn't care. "You don't remember? You're Rao. You and I were on a mission together."

The girl, whose name was apparently Rao, tilted her head, trying to take everything in. "A mission?" She repeated.

The boy nodded solemnly, but inside he was laughing as his idea came together. "Yeah. We were to stop the Vast Feminist Conspiracy. But they caught you. Those damned, dirty feminists caught you, and now look at yourself! They turned you into a woman version of you!" It wasn't the best lie he'd ever told, but it was funny enough that he didn't care. He continued. "You were captured trying to save me. I'm sorry." He looked down at the ground in order to hide his grin under the guise of being upset.

Rao shook her head. "This is all very difficult to take in... I was a man, and now I'm a woman? How did they do that?"

The boy shook his head. "It's too horrible to say."

Rao grabbed him by the hand. "Please, I have to know. I want to know everything."

The boy did all he could to hide his glee. This girl had fallen for his lies, hook, line, and sinker. It wasn't often he found such a gullible victim. To be fair, she did seem to have amnesia, but still. He sighed a false sigh. "Alright."

"I didn't see it happen, but I've heard of their methods. They didn't actually turn you into a girl. They killed you. Then they took some of your flesh and made a woman version of you. That's the you right now - that clone. I don't know how, but I'm guessing you were too hard to control. That's why they tried to kill you. But they failed. You're now the greatest weapon against them - a woman version of a man who defies them they can't control." It was all sounding super outlandish, even for him, but the girl, now named Rao, seemed to believe every word. "They'll no doubt come after you because of that.

"What should I do?" Rao asked, concern filling her eyes.

"You have to disguise yourself as a man. The feminists will never expect that. They'll think you're just another dude who looks like the one they killed - all men look the same to them, after all. Cut your hair, first of all - long hair is the biggest giveaway."

Rao nodded her understanding. It all made sense to her. The feminists were out to rule the world, and she was the only one that could stop them.

With the help of the boy, who she came to learn was named Danny Daname, Rao got her hair cut, and spent a few weeks learning how to act like a boy. If only those damned, dirty feminists hadn't killed him, Rao could have gone to stop them without training, but maybe it was better this way?

After a few weeks, Danny revealed that he had to leave her. "The feminists know who I am, but they don't know you. Now, anyways. So it's better if we're not seen together, or else they'll find out. Women are smart like that." In truth, the boy, who was most certainly not named Danny Daname, because no one would actually have a name that stupid, was simply growing bored of the whole evil feminist lie. He needed a new victim, a new thrill. "It's better that you don't reveal that you're a girl to anyone. Your secret is your greatest weapon against the feminists." And with that, the two parted ways.
