Aderyn hummed to herself as she flew, enjoying the wind through her hair and her feathers. The glitter of a pond below caught her eye and she grinned fiercely, changing course and diving for the lake. Arms and claws outstretched, she wanted to grab a fish or two, maybe terrify some Naiad.
Like a multicolored flash, she was in and out of the water, coming up with two fish in her claws. "Yum~" Landing in a nearby clearing, she sat down to eat.

Bellora was minding her own business, staring at the pond from her seat on the beach. After being cooped up so long, she decided to finally spread her wings and do a bit of exploring.
Only...exploring was boring as it turns out. So she quickly gave that up to instead pout at the nearby lake. How was she supposed to assert her independence from the nest when there was nothing to do?! It was then that she saw her. Colorful, fast. Powerful. Just like her mother. The harpy caught TWO fish in her successful dive, making the teenagers eyes go wide. What an experienced hunter! She quickly scrambled onto her feet and took flight after her. There was probably some social rule about spying, but Bellora wasn't really one for manners. So she quietly swooped into the trees on the edge of the clearing to stare at the other harpy. It was the first harpy she'd ever encounter, her mother aside.

Just as she was about to chow down on a fish when she distinctly thought she heard the swoosh of wings. Was someone spying on her? Narrowing her eyes, she looked around the clearing. "Who's out there?" she asked the emptiness, eyes darting back and forth searching for movement. She didn't like being spied on. Her talons itched to dig into something far more substantial than a fish.

She was perfectly hidden in the tree, her young teen form slender enough to blend in. Still, she was shocked at the call out and instinctively backed up. Only she didn't think about footing.
Bellora slipped off the branch with a shriek, her small body falling straight down as her arms writhed about. Luckily she managed to latch onto another branch, but not without causing a considerable amount of commotion, cuts and future bruises. "...Owww...."
