-people touching his cat figurines███████████████ P e r s o n a lPersonality: He used to be bubbly and naive and while the latter is still true, he has since become more awkward and worries a lot, and has shut himself off emotionally from others as much as he can. He knows when to be serious and get to work but can be a little lazy and drags his a** a bit on things that are lower on his list of priorities. He used to be happy and silly and very extroverted, and wishes he could be who he was again, but it just isn't in him anymore.History: The Novakin had recently started colonizing a nearby planet due to overpopulation on their own. It was decided when he was young that Kaida would be the one to take the throne on the new colony, despite having an older brother. It was then that his grandfather decided that the first child born on the colony would be of the highest royal blood and ordered Kaida to a ceremonial virgin birth after he was relocated to the colony, something he and his parents were very much against. He was too young and the pregnancy did not end well, much to his parents’ expectations, though they were powerless in the decision. Near the end he started to accept it and feels incredibly guilty over the incident, though it really wasn't his fault. His parents tried hard to keep it quiet, but the news quickly spread and it was plastered everywhere before they knew it, though no one outside the family knows what really happened. There was an attempt to ban news stories surrounding it, the only thing anyone knows is that the infant was a girl, and that she didn't make it. He avoids talking about it and would prefer to pretend it never happened.
Before he could be ordered to do so again, his brother married and they conceived a child. Kaida left on the ship his brother was to be sent out on before his grandfather could stop either from happening. He changed the course and sold it to buy a new one so that his parents wouldn't be able to track him, and sent the rest of the crew home. Despite being able to get away, he still resents his brother for not stepping up to do so in the first place, but doesn’t realize he was adopted and was forbidden by their grandfather to do this because of his “dirty blood”. Kaida was meant to marry a princess of the Second Sector (the daughter of his mother's half sister) but since he ran away her parents feel he has disgraced the family and called this off, they were rather close. He was in love with her, but since leaving she has married someone else.
He has absolutely no dating experience outside his cousin and no real friends, he is currently on his own. He did attend school with his brother for engineering, something his parents thought was important since they were being relocated to the colony and may have to travel on their own between them. He doesn't know where he's going, he just knows that his parents are desperately trying to find him, but he doesn't want to go home.
He keeps a cat he got while visiting earth on his ship to control any critters that manage to get on board while docked. She is a fat, overly affectionate seal point siamese that mostly just waddles around and eats all day instead of doing her job, her name is Esora.Inventory: Two pistols, a communicator/computer around his forearm, a small flute (similar to a recorder, but with a much softer, smoother sound), a wallet he keeps chained to his pants (in a trunk on his ship he keeps a few changes of clothes, his crown, and some other odd belongings) Weapons: Two energy pistols, one in a holster on his belt, the other hidden in a second holster under his shirt, primarily uses them to stun.Weaknesses: His mental health really suffers around babies. He also isn't really able to block out the emotions of other people very well which can be taken advantage of.My Talents:
► Trained in hitting targets with his pistols -he's great at it, as long as they're not moving
► Although he is only truly fluent in his own, he knows 5 different languages, his English is still a little "off" sometimes but it's getting better (the rest are just good enough to get by).
► He is rather good at playing different types of flutes.
