» Biography: Once one of the greatest regional pirates of the Eastern hemisphere, well known for his remarkable strength and cunning to overcome incredible odds. His greatest endeavor however took place on his nineteenth birthday when he ended up in a struggle for his life with a lesser dragon. The battle cost him his entire ship and crew, however he did earn the corpse of the dragon and some fresh scars. To celebrate he ate the heart and sacrificed the rest of the dragon to his ancestors in hopes that his crew's sacrifice would be worth the glory it earned him. His ancestors fulfilled his request by giving him the abilities of the dragon he had killed which helped him earn fame and glory among the people he used to rob blind. Every year they celebrated his victory over the dragon with a regional holiday where they'd get drunk and forget all the turmoil of the previous year. On Genji's twenty third birthday and the third celebration of the day he had slain the dragon he drunkenly made fun of his ancestors who gave him those amazing gifts. In their anger they put him into a sleep which lasted two hundred years, and the people believed that he was dead. From their misunderstanding of the situation they created a tomb in their village and buried him in it, protecting his body while he slept off his punishment.
