A different kind of list has worked for me, though. A "done" list. Things I've been meaning to do that I've actually achieved. Not only do I get that "Yay me!" feeling looking back over it, but it's actually helped me through situations where I had to recall who, what where and when for some specific purpose. Like "When did you finish that assignment?" or "Who did you speak to... work with... alibi... blah, blah, blah?"
It was a good habit that fell by the wayside a long time ago, but I picked it back up lately when I found out a bunch of people I'm friends have their sh... uh... by a lot more on the ball than I have been as of late. It's a lot of fun to see how much I've actually got done and it motivates me to add more and more. For dorkfish like me, consider it like going back into your quest history and seeing all the achievements you've unlocked.
Mmkay. That's all for now. Andy, out. (and FABULOUS!) <
