Leaning forward in his chair the dark blonde male let his hazel-green eyes shift between both male cops that sat in front of him on the other side of the table. Paxton had cuffs on his wrists, they were very uncomfortable and he really didn't want to be in this room right now. He twisted his wrists uncomfortably as the men in front of him asked a million questions. "Common Mr. Akkman, we just want to get to the bottom of this." The taller dark skinned cop explained tapping his finger on the table. Paxton let his eye's travel over him, he tilted his head slightly and blinked twice. "It's Akk-er-man, it's Jewish." He corrected the male only making his partner let out a deep set sigh and slam his hand on the table. "Why did you kill him Akkerman? Talk you little scum bag." Raising his eyebrows Paxton let his eyes fall to the mans hand on the table as he stared at it. His lips parted slightly as he let out a sigh before looking back at the cop. "Shouldn't I be talking to my lawyer first?" He asked bluntly.
Paxton was pulled away from his two year old niece this morning when these two cops walked in and arrested him in his sister home. He wasn't very happy at the moment and these two were really getting on his last nerve with all their questions and commands. "Listen pal, we got questions we need answers to. We can either do this the easy way or the hard way." Tilting his head back Paxton smirked a little, he nodded and looked back at the shorter blonde haired cop. Placing his hands on the table he head the loud clink the cuffs made against the table as he nodded at them. "I mean how much harder could this get?" He asked before letting out a laugh in his deep voice. He was just waiting for his lawyer to walk in and break the scene up.

Ana had been rushing that morning to met with her new client. It wasn't the first time that Ana hd a client that was on trial for murder, but that never warranted the right for the female to be late. Walking in she noted that looked at come for all the males surrounding her. She tried not to chuckle. You sleep with one guy and everyone wants a piece she thought to herself as she checked in and made her way to the room. "Alright everyone out, Now! This is my client and he will not be harassed by two blue monkeys.. Out!" she said as she heard the cops started to complain. With a roll of her blue eyes, she starred at them :Unless you both want a lawsuit I suggest you move, now" she said with a smile as she watched them walk out.
Ana's eyes followed the cops as she spoke "Alright, what did yo-" she started until she saw who was sitting in front of her. "You!" she said as she nearly fell over "But you told me your name was Andrew, not... Not" she said as she looked over files "Paxton!" she said as she felt a light blush creep over her cheeks. Of course it was the male she'd given her virginity too. She barely remember him, their night meant nothing and right after she'd met someone way better, both in and out of bed. Ana tried to clear her head. She wasn't supposed to take this case, but she needed it, it was the bets case and the money was very nice. It would pay for a lovely trip with Aaron and she really needed it after everything.
Turning to Paxton, she sighed "Look.... No one can know that... That we.. Ya know.. If anyone finds out I won't be able to take this case, and I'm the best lawyer there is" she said as she sat and placed one leg over the other. Ana sat straight and placed her interlocked hands on the table top. "So are we doing this?" she asked as she tried not to picture the male naked. This is by far the worst case I've ever had to deal with..... The guy I slept with? Really?.... she thought to herself, dreading the situation she was in. To help herself stay focused, she decided to think about Aaron, it was easier to deal with Paxton that way. .

_________________XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"I really need to stab something right now." Flinching slightly when the door was swung right open and a female with long dark hair came marching into the room Paxton lips parted slightly watching the female. He knew who she was, he met her a month ago when they hooked up at that bar. Watching the cops complain and make a racket before leaving and shutting the door behind them the hazel-green eyed male looked over at his lawyer as she finally recognized who he was. She was all flustered about how he lied about his name and that he wasn't supposed to tell anyone that they slept together or even knew each other because he needed her as a lawyer and she needed this case. This scene ran by too fast for Paxton, he just sat in the steel chair with his cuffed hands on the table and dumbstruck look on his face, his lips parted and his eyebrows raised. Taking in a slow breath he let out a sigh feeling his lips curve into a smirk. "Wow, this is a bit awkward.. Don't you agree?" He asked her in his deep gravely voice.
Taking his hands off the table he set them in his lap as he looked her over. "You really do know how to dress yourself." He commented looking down at his attire. Paxton was just wearing a dark green shirt with the top two buttons unbuttoned, a pair badge pants and dark brown construction boots. Shifting his boot slightly he pursed his lips shaking his head before looking back at her with a smile. "You're making me look bad." He joked. But soon his smile was gone remembering why he was here in the first place, this was no joke, this could either end bad and he would go to jail. A place he was not looking forward to going. Or it would end good, she would fight his case and he would go free, everyone forgetting and him returning to his family an innocent man.. Well as innocent as a murderer could get. "Um, they think I killed a man named Roger Hicks. A fisherman, he worked at the docks near Miami beach.." Paxton's voice became almost hazy as he starred past the female into nothing but space, his head tilting just sightly to the right._________________XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Listening as the light haired male spoke about how the situation was a little bit awkward, Ana rolled rolled her eyes at his statement. Because that wasn't obvious?... she thought to herself before looked him over. She had to admit, he did look a little out of place next to her, but he was the one about to go to prison, so it really shouldn't matter how the male was dressed. "Thank you" she said as she raised both hands and move her hair out of her face. When the male said she was making him look bad she smiled "Paxton, this is hardly the time for looks... You're on trial for murder...." she said as she looked over his file quickly. There wasn't much in Paxton's file to go on. It barely held any information on the male, and the night they'd spent together, he'd lied to her.
When Paxton explained how the cops believed he'd killed a man that worked at the docks, she nodded and placed the file down on the desk. "Before we move forward, I need to ask you something.... I need to know if you really killed the man... Because it's easier to build a case for you if I know whether or not you're guilty..." she said. "Once we know the details about everything we can better build your case" she said as she looked at him. "So first thing is first, I need to know what you did that night and who you saw and... Well basically everything that you can remember that you did on the night of Mr. Hicks death" she said to him. Ana was a damned good lawyer, she knew it to. She never made mistakes and she sure as hell never lost a case. The reason why she was so good was because she knew the law and how to work around it.
