I'd be thrilled for any of these quests to be picked! I envision REBELLION (peony + cicada) most strongly, and prefer the other two in about equal amounts. Please pick one that you'd enjoy drawing. As a note, these aren't the names of the Aeternus! I-I haven't picked those yet, whoops Q_Q

ETHER: A shot of intense espresso, pillowy milkfoam, and just a bit of chocolate...this really hits the spot.
Preferred influences: Spidery latte art markings somewhere on her body. Dramatic dark browns and whites. Inspiration.
ESSENCE: There's not much else to say, other than, well, it's so fluffy! A sweet, almost too energetic companion.
Preferred influences: A giant neck ruff, plump and curvy body type, and a short, fluffy tail.

The first thing you notice about her is that she's round, small and cute and fluffy, and living on an eternal caffeine high. She has the excellent combination of a short attention span and high standards: she's not likely to judge you hard, even if she should, because there's always something (someone?) more interesting. She can just move on instead! She has an intense fascination with humans and human culture but she also enjoys what she thinks of as her duty. Anyone who isn't native to the Vocivus dies eventually, right? And there's no better way to be die than in the company of someone who will remember you...forever.

ETHER: The flower of riches and honor. Faithful and consistent, but also a symbol of masculine rebellion.
Preferred influences: Gently-gradiented yellows, pinks, and purples. Stylized, tattoo-esque markings in red, perhaps? Wears her hair with an undercut.
ESSENCE: Rare but reliable, a singer with the sweetest voice you've ever heard. Carefree summer child.
Preferred influences: Filigreed cicada wings, delicate and bony. Long graceful antennae. Chitinous skin.

In tattoos, peonies are masculine, associated with a devil-may-care attitude, and that precisely sums up the sorts of souls she harvests. She's attracted to souls who risked themselves for their beliefs, and like them, she's hardhearted and thrill-seeking but tends to be incredibly devoted, without worry for consequences. She longs to stand out. She's aloof, athletic, and competent, finding joy in competition of any kind. She pretends to be spiky and zealous but really she's a font of understanding for others.

Aloof expression, athletic build (less curvy). I definitely want her to wear her hair in some kind of undercut - it's up to you the exact length and style. I'd prefer her as messor, although I wouldn't say she's feral - she's definitely into human culture (I'd still adore her as venator <3). I'm pickiest about colors - I want them to mostly resemble Ode's (pinks and purples with hints of yellow edges) with blocky tribal-esque tattoo shaped markings in an orange-red (the color of red peonies) across various parts of her body. You can interpret the cicada bit however you'd like.

ETHER: Smooth and cool, with a hint of a floral aroma. A rich mountain-y drink.
Inspiration: That which slowly unfurls in the water.
ESSENCE: Vulnerable and placid, with a healing smile. Strong suit: hiding.
Inspiration: Survivor.

They can be best summed up with the word 'zen'. Solid and calm, their strong suit is observation. They wander about placidly without much mind for collecting souls: it's just not interesting. They're very much about stopping to smell the flowers and enjoy lived experiences of all kind. They dislike interruptions and rigidity. Like the fluids with which they associate themselves, they flow from one mood to another.

Artists' choice! Preferably messor; venator would be lovely too. I'm not picky about determined sex; they'll probably identify as non-binary.
