Rin was glad Natsumi accepted his proposal. He hoped he wouldn't have anything to attend to in a few hours, because Rin had plans of letting lose and actually enjoy the second part of their sparring session. He truly wanted to see his lieutenant's ability, since there hasn't been a situation in the field that happened yet. This was actually good practice for that: knowing how each other fights would help when they team up aganist opponents. Especially the difficult ones, like Espada and such. Rin unsheathed his other Zanpakto, the assassin blade, which was only half the length of his katana Zanpakto, wanting to see how Natsumi would do with a two-sword style. So, Rin fell into a different stance than the one before, with the assassin blade held backwards in his hand, and the katana held the opposite. Rin then moved to center of the room, facing Natsumi."l won't be going all-out from the start, but, give me all you got." Rin paused for a few seconds."But, within reason." And with that, Rin hopped backward, wanting more space to leap in the air for a overhead strike. He aimed his katana Zanpakto towards Natsumi's shoulder, wondering exactly how see would dodge this. It was a truly obvious move, but, who said he had to begin with something complex? This first strike was made for Natsumi to dodge and retaliate, and seeing how she fought earlier, she was going to retaliate, and retaliate well....

Rin explained to her that he wont be going all out at the very beginning. Which was understandable. After all with their kendo match he did the exact same thing, started off simple then getting more and more complex and the fight went on. He told her to give everything she had but to make sure to keep it within reason."No need to worry. I wont use anything too destructive." she said calmly to the man. she wanted to reassure him that she wont be tearing this place apart. In fact if anyone would be tearing it apart it would be him.
rin hopped backwards putting space between himself and Natsumi. However, she did not move. Her feet remained planted on the ground under her and she looked at him with cold dead eyes, ready for whatever was about to happen. leaping into the air Rin made his first strike. Her shoulder was his target. He really was starting off easy, Natsumi brought her katana up towards her shoulder and blocked it. With her free hand she would press her palm against the back of the blade to help her resit against his strike and body weight. Her eyes made contact with his. As his body came down onto the floor natsumi didn't push his blade off hers like one would think. Instead she brought one foot forward and uttered."Manifest your essence, Seishin...
her sword then started to glow and take form. the beauty if the sword was remarkable. A clear glass-like blade with a torn fabric wrapped around the hilt and loosely wrapped around the blade itself. Pushing forward with her body she pressed the blades against each other more, remarkably her blade started to literally go through Rin's blade itself. Now that one of her feet was forward she was able smoothly slash her sword forward, attempting to strike him across the stomach.

Air Slide (Kūki Suberu 空気 滑る) Much like the Dash technique, Air Slide is initiated when the user pushes off of the ground and in a certain direction. However, Air Slide allows one to "glide" across the ground or up a steep surface.
Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash Steps) A high-speed movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. The user blurs out of sight of a brief moment then reappears wherever it is that they wanted to move. It should be noted that the user of this technique CANNOT pass through matter or high concentrations of spiritual energy.
Air Walk (Kūki Aruku 空気 歩く) The user collects spirit particles at their feet and is able to remain airborne or gain effective footing when sent flying by an opponent.
Zanjutsu
Suikawari (西瓜割, Watermelon Splitting) Blade A two-handed, overhead slash which cleanly and precisely cleaves an opponent's head in twain. Instantly deals an additional damage of [3] HP to NPC.
Hōzuri (頬摺, Cheek Stroke) Blade A simple but precise slash technique which lightly grazes the target, causing superficial wounds.
Ryōdan (両断, Bisection) Blade Grasping his or her sword with both hands, the practitioner brings it down with enough force to cut an opponent in half down the middle.It has enough force to instantly deal [10] damage to NPC. Do not roll for NPC kill on that post.
Hitotsume: Nadegiri (一つ目・撫で斬り, The First: Killing Stroke) Blade A precision cut of extreme force and speed which can casually slice through large, multi-story high opponents protected by steel skin. This slash is so precise and swift, its victims are not even aware of it until after it has taken placeIt has enough force to instantly deal [17] damage to NPC. Do not roll for NPC kill on that post. Cooldown of 1 post.
It was fairly easy to retaliate, and Rin knew this. So when Natsumi locked effortlessly, it did not cause him to get nervous at all. But, what did was the immediate activation of Natsumi's Shikai, which was a beautiful glass sword, which Rin first thought was fragile, but reconsidered quickly at he landed on the Dojo floor. There had to be a reason of why it looked like that, right? Rin was thinking of his next attack as Natsumi stepped forward, her blade phasing through his own. Making a sound of wonder, Rin threw both of his zanpakto in a downward arc behind him, coating his right hand in reiastu. He than used that self-same hand to knock Natsumi's zanpakto skyward, then moved backward with Shunpo to retrieve his zanpakto, which had buried themselves in the floor. The look of pure excitement was evident upon Rin as he sheathed both of his zanpakto with relish. "Shred through the threshold that binds us, Akatsuki Zenmetsu." An implosion of black smoke engulfed Rin, but it didn't last long, as he swiftly blew it away, which revealed his Shikai, a monochrome colored chainsaw. Rin's reiastu flared up, the color green illuminating the Dojo. Soon enough, his Shikai was aglow in the same color, as Rin started the engine of his chainsaw. There was no growl from the engine as Rin took three swings with his Shikai, sending three green colored blasts of cutting but painfully solid reiastu in Natsumi's way. The first wave was strong, and for her stomach. Athe second one slightly weaker, and was heading for her left leg. The last wave was startlingly weak, and sent in the direction of her right leg. Rin knew this for a fact: of it was a downside to this particular ability. The question was, would Natsumi tell the difference?

Her blade started to phase through his sword like butter. Perhaps she was going to win the battle already. Though she highly doubted it, her skill level didn't reach his level at the slightest. Taking his hand, covered with spiritual pressure, he forced her blade upwards. A smart move on his part. He wouldn't have had enough time to dodge her attack so he compromised. Quickly Rin moved backwards and grabbing his sword he sent flying behind him just moments ago. This was it, He started to summon his swords true form. Akatsuki Zenmetsu, was it's name.
With a small poof of black smoke his sword took it's form resembling a chainsaw. Suddenly she felt an intense amount of spiritual pressure coming from Rin, he was preparing for an attack. A green glow filled the room as he roared his strength. His Shikai started to glow int he same green light and he started up his chainsaw. But it was strange, it didn't growl like a normal chainsaw. With three swings of his shikai and three blasted of green light was sent flying her way.
With her Shikai's power she knew that she could not counter it with an attack because her shikai's power was more on the descrete side, Perfect for an assassin. Her only change to get out unharmed was to dodge, and quickly. Using shunpo, she dodged the first blast by moving to the right. For the second, moving to the left, and finally for the third back into the center. She stood her ground with she finished dodging and held her sword with one hand, pointing the tip of the blade downwards. Turning her head slightly to the side she looked behind her with the corner of her eye, seeing the power of the blast. 'I see.' bringing her gaze back onto her captain she spoke."Are you afraid to attack me head on, Captain Rin?" Provoking him to attack her head on my of been a mistake, but everything she has been doing has a purpose. And she still need to learn what more not only on what he was capable of but his shikai as well. Was this all his shikai was able to do, doubtful.

Rin watched as Natsumi moved gracefully to dodge his attacks. She seemed to have understood what might have happened hit she had been hit with the last display of power. But, it did give away something about her Shikai. Maybe she couldn't counter his attacks directly? Or, more likely, she wanted to conserve energy for a counterattack. In any case, direct combat would be a mistake, and Rin knew it. At any slightest hint of contact, her Shikai would simply display it's earlier power, leaving Rin to compromise yet again. No, he needed to control the pace of the fight. So he would keep his distance instead.So when Natsumi attempted to provoke him, Rin laughed."You're not going to entice me that way. Not all opponents will respond how you want to." She was right, of course, fear did tug at him, but, his was too excited to acknowledge that at the moment. Which was good, he didn't need that looming over his head right now.The last ability he displayed, Mitsurou, needed some time to be able to be used again, unfortunately. But, in the meantime, Rin would use his speed in an attempt to confuse and confound. So Rin leapt in the air, using Air Skate to gain a boost in speed as he rocketed himself towards Natsumi, taking a timed swing at her leg as he went by. The point wasn't to actually strike Natsumi, but, set the stage for when he wanted to use his most devious ability. If he did manage to strike her, that would be a nice bonus to have. Rin almost crashed into the wall, quickly righting himself as he placed both feet on the dojo's wall. He then used that as starting point for his next round at Natsumi, pushing off the dojo wall, and zooming towards her...

Rin flinched as he felt an familiar presence of Hollows in the Sereitei. How could that be? Rin dashed right past Natsumi, righting himself again and landing on his two feet at the entrance of the Dojo. This was obviously bad, so the option was obvious: take care of it. The presence of the Hollows was obvious, but, there were no orders given. Possibly, he could do some recon and find out the enemies strength. No use being Squad Two Captain without using that stealth of an assassin. Then, gather a commando unit to take care of it as a group. If not, he could take care of it himself. There is also the huge possibility that another Shinigami went to intercept these Hollows. Good thing he was already in Shikai, then. Rin turned towards Natsumi and bowed deeply."I'm sorry, Natsumi, but, I'm sure you can feel that presence as well. I'm going to take care of this myself. In exchange, I owe you a favor. Any favor you might ask of me. If you want to follow, you're welcome to it." Rin meant it, since he was actually halfway excited for his bout with his Lieutenant. And with that, Rin stormed out of the Dojo, and seeing that he was sensing this problem below ground, he knew exactly where to search: The sewers. Knowing the Squad Two barracks helped Rin find an entrance, which, once he was in, he used Shunpo so to not waste any more time. An unlucky Shinigami might be facing a threat worse than Hollows, after all......
OCC:Canceling the Shikai Training for the moment. Onward to battle!! Exit to Sereitei Sewers.
