Persy smiled. "It's good to have each others backs. It's important in the world. The world can be a dangerous place at times as I'm sure by now you're well aware." she red-head said, nodding her head with recognition. At the very least all of her kits could defend themselves, although most of that wasn't from her teachings.
"Ah yes Dracal but there is always a pay-off" Persy said softly, her eyes bright but slightly sad. "Of course it is wonderful that with all the care and attention we gave her Nyx survived. However it meant that the other kits didn't get as much attention as they maybe should have. I know at least some of them feel like Nyx was favoured above all others. Of course I love all of my kits equally but when one required far more attention it is easy to see why someone would disagree with me." The female smiled a soft smile. "Nyx did far better than I could have ever expected. I mean...she has a family of her own now. Something she was told all her life she would never have." Persy nodded at the toyger with a smile. "Clubbing could be fun. You'll be sure to at least meet some interesting cats here." The female giggled slightly. "No one is perfect but I can't help but to continue to feel that Kieran is the closest to perfect a cat can ever get."
The red-head thought for a second. "Well I know that Nyx is doing well and Hermies is being his usual self. Hanging out on the beach, hitting on ladies, the usual. I will be meeting up with him next week though. He says he has something important to tell me. Kieran is gods knows where but I feel all the same he is safe. Morph is very worried I know, Nyx was telling me. Hemera is off practising with her band and Phosphor is off wandering as well. Although I get regular updates about him, so that's a load off my mind. That's all the information I currently know." she finished, wishing she had more contact with her other kittens.

Dracal grins and nodded at her words. "If more kitties would have each other's back, we wouldn't have this kind of world as we live in today. Less violence and less hatred of life and other beings." He nods. "... I do all too well, Mama." He frowned softly. "I lived in the forest for a good while, learning how to survive. I nearly went feral because of that."
Dracal tilts his head to listen to his mother once more before looking around to set the bags down for her to sort through. "Everything has a cost.. a pay-off as you say, Mama. But think of it this way.. Everything happens for a reason. We are all meant to do something. Just like you were meant to be our Mother." He nods softly. "I know most of the kitties won't feel the same way as others do. But I can see where you are coming from. Whenever there is a special needs kitten, other siblings' jealousy is to be expected, Mama. She is the reason why I am mostly a night kitty." He chuckled. "Mom..If you tell Nyx, she can't do something.. She'll prove to you that she can. She did it for me many times. I had to be a little negative around her just to get her going. It wasn't to hurt her but to boost her up." He grinned before chuckling about the Clubbing. ".. I haven't found anyone to go clubbing with but.. I will try to. It is not my sort of scene but it is something new. I need it.. Gods.. I need it." He sighed. "No one can BE perfect.. I want someone that would need me as much as I need them."
Dracal listened to his mother about the family, laughing softly. "Mom.. Hermies is always himself." He nods softly. "Give him my love and tell him that I said hello." He tilts his head. "I do wonder what he could be wanting to tell you." He flattened his ears. "Dad is ok, Mom. He is strong like you." He flicks his tail and ears softly. "I am glad everyone is doing really good. I do miss everyone.. very much..Anyway.. Where to put everything, Mama?" He asked. "And Tell me about my neices and nephews.. You have seen them. I only met one... The little girl that looks so much like her.."

Persy nodded, her loose curls bobbing as she did so. "Too true Dracal. The world will always be dangerous but we call all do something to make it less so"
As the toyger spoke, Persy smiled a little wistfully. "Yeah I believe everything happens for a reason as well. Sometimes it's hard to think that way, when bad things happen. But I believe it all the same." she said softly before laughing at Dracals next comment. "Nyx is in many ways her fathers kit. So stubborn. She would never give up on anything, even when her body was trying to. The defiance in her eyes when you would tell her not to do something, it was like Kieran was looking right back at me! It was even funnier when the two would get into an argument about each other not being stubborn! I think he would be really proud to see just how far her stubbornness has taken her though." The females tail flicked lazily as she spoke. It brought her joy to see personality traits of Kieran's in her kittens. "You never know Dracal, you might enjoy it. You'll certainly meet interesting cat's there." Persy cocked her head to the side slightly at his last statement. "I don't know if the feeling of needing someone as much as they need you is healthy though. You should want to be with someone who brings out the best in you, makes you a better cat. Needing...needing can be dangerous...I think. Because you can need someone and they can need you...but it doesn't mean they boost you up or make you feel special. Needing can bring you down into a dark pit rather than bringing you into the sun." she finished quietly. She had battled this feeling before. When Kieran had gone for periods of time. She felt horrid that he didn't need her because she always needed him. Upon reflection, and a lot of it, she realised that she could be her own cat. She never needed him. She just wanted to be with him. They complimented each other but it wasn't like a piece of her was missing when he was gone.
Persy shook her head. "I have no idea what Hermies wants to tell me, to be honest. I mean he told me it so seriously, which is very strange for him. Well I guess I'll find out soon enough won't I? With the drama that has gone in this family I don't think anything would surprise me!" As she spoke she starting putting some of the items in the bags away, showing Dracal where to put this and that, until all of the stuff was stored neatly. "Oh they're wonderful. Ma-Ku is so much like Nyx and yet so much like her father at the same time. It's so fascinating. And the boys, they're just great. One is a real trouble maker. The other is a bit more reserved but both so sweet. They're really a lovely family."

Dracal smiled while watching the curls bobbed around her head. "The world will never be fully perfect, Mom. But you are right on that. I agree with you."
He perked up as he nods softly. "Sometimes where we are at our worst.. A light that isn't to be expected comes from the last person you would think." He had to take a step back and chuckled. "Oh, Mom.. The stories that I could tell you with Nyx. I think you knew of some of the adventures that we had. Not a single regret for that. I am so glad that she is the way she is." The light within his eyes sparkled as he had stopped to think about those very times. Happiness made his heart feel a bit lighter. He smiled. "I will need to see if I can ask one of the boys to take me.. What do you think about that, Mama?" His eyes grew wide at her words about needing someone. "... " He listened to her with earnest, noticing the emotions behind them. "Mama.. You went through that.. didn't you? I don't know.. I.. I just want to do right in my next relationship. It will be hard.. "
A few moments later, he would listen to her about Hermes and nods. "Mom.. I think Hermes is happy about something and wants you to know. We all know how Aloof he is.. I learned to take him seriously when he wants to talk." He then nods. "I wouldn't be surprised at all as well. Because we all went through alot." He arched his brow. "A troublemaker? And I knew that Nyx would have a daughter that was similar to her. I promised her that I would be there if Ma-ku needed me. The very same promise that I gave her mother when we were kids. I am not one to break those kind of promises, Mama." He smiled. "I will have to see about seeing them sometimes. Anyway.. Anything I can do for you while I am here, Mama? Maybe some cooking?" He winks.

Persy smiled at her adopted son. He was always such a sensitive kit. She then giggled. "I'm aware of at least some of the trouble you guys got into. I used to be worried sick about what you two were up to without me watching you. But it was also wonderful for you to have each other to play with a gain a bit of independence." the red-head said with a smile. "You most certainly should Dracal. It may not be your scene but gaining new experiences is an awful lot of fun!" Persy's eyes sparkled slightly as she spoke. "The right relationship can be really hard Dracal but...they're also worth it. They can also make you stronger than you ever imagined you could be. It's important to grow as a couple but also as an individual. You can never be sure when life will throw you a fast one and without your own personal growth you might never be able to survive."
Persy laughed. "Well you know Hermies. All he wants to do all day is hang out and the beach and surf. It's so strange that he ever has news at all. Most of the time when he speaks to me he's telling me about an ocean fish he caught or that he took on a seagull." she giggled, her spotted tail flicking side to side as she put on the kettle and took some cups out of the cupboard. "Haha Ma-Ku is the almost perfect blend of her mum and her dad's troublemaking skills. She's on the next level. I would keep that promise on the down-low as well. Ma-Ku she's...very independent. She doesn't like the idea of being saved by someone, ever someone like you!" Persy nodded and smiled. "Well we should probably put some dinner on soon but I think some tea to thaw out after the snow is on the table first."

Dracal leans back a bit against the countertop, glancing at his mother. "Oh, you knew some of it? Oh, dear." He rubbed the back of his head, laughing softly. "I kinda.. encouraged her to do it so she could get stonger. You can place all of the blame on me, Mom." He grinned at her while purring. "I will see about it.. I have nothing to wear for a club.... I dread to ask one of the boys to be my fashion designer for the night." He shakes his head at the thought. "You are right, mama. It all depends one's inner strength, right?" He tilts his head. "Hence why I consider you one of the strongest females I know besides Nyx." He moved over to kiss her on the cheek.
Dracal once again agrees with her words. "Hermies never could be serious for long. Really? That feline took on a seagull? I heard that they are mean as hell." He laughed. "And they laugh at you." He arched his brow when they arrived on the topic of Ma-Ku. "Really? She is worse than Nyx? I do want to see her and the rest of the kits." He glanced towards her once more before moving to help her get the things that they need to get out for the tea and dinner. "Can I help cook, Mama? Like old times but this time I am bigger?" He smiled with a twinkle of his eye.
