Character Skeleton / Character Rules!

Before reading the character skeleton for all original characters or for canon characters, please read below the following rules to keep in mind before creating a character profile of any kind:

☆ฺ Post your character profiles IN THIS AREA OF THE GUILD! When creating a thread topic label it the following, depending on your character! The "waiting" is for me to accept you, and when it is accepted, you can change that word to "Accepted!"

For canon characters - [CANON] (insert name) [WAITING]
For original characters - [OC] (insert name) [WAITING]

☆ฺ When you are creating a CANON character's skeleton, or character sheet, understand that you have the right of CREATIVITY! When I say the word canon, it simply implies that the characters are canon of Touhou itself, and you don't have to play them EXACTLY as how they are written. Some CANON characters do not even have actual backgrounds written for them in their own game, so take the opportunity and make it your own!

☆ฺ When you are creating AN ORIGINAL character, please do not create carbon copies of any character, do not grant your character an enormous amount of power over the majority of the cast, do not allow your original character to instantly kill anyone or anything, and make sure that when creating their profile it makes sense. In order for people to better understand you and your character, you must describe your character as best as you can on the character skeleton.

☆ฺ Please fill out everything in the sheet that is provided to you. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about your character sheet, whether it be canon or original character-related, do not hesitate to shoot me a private message!

Character Skeleton

Name of your Character:

What Type of Youkai:

Nickname:

Age:

Occupation:

Where you're located at in Gensokyo or Otherwise:

Personality:

Types of Abilities / Powers: (make sure to read the links provided on the front page for better understanding and quality descriptions!)

Theme Song:

Danger Level: (is split into six categories, read below)
- Very Low: Characters under this rating are not aggressive, actively avoid fighting or harming others, or are very weak. Or a combination of two or three of those. They're probably more afraid of you than you are of them, or they just want a nice, friendly conversation instead of a battle. Noncombatants usually fall under this rating, though a very low danger rating doesn't necessarily mean a character can't defend themselves if necessary.

- Low: Most characters under this rating won't actively attack others or get into fights. They may be any power level, though the majority of characters with a low danger level are on the lower side of the power scale. Most human characters that aren't noncombatants fall under this level, though a fair number of youkai are peaceful enough to have it as well.

- Average: An average danger rating could mean a few different things. Characters with this rating could be peaceful or aggressive, strong or weak, or so on. They have a combination of personality and powers that makes them somewhat dangerous, but not excessively so. It's best to be a bit cautious around them, though if one doesn't attack them, get on their nerves, or get in their way, they probably won't start a fight. They also tend to be lazy and/or uncaring.

- High: High danger ratings mean the character in question is likely to be aggressive and may actively attack on sight. They're probably relatively powerful, and not terribly friendly. They aren't going to immediately pick a fight with everyone they come across, but always be ready around them.

- Very High: Exercise caution around characters with a very high danger rating at all times. They might attack for the smallest of reasons, and they likely have the power to back that up. They may or may not be able to be reasoned with, though assuming they can be talked down is highly hazardous to one's health. Stay out of their way if possible. And failing that, do not get on their bad side.

- Extremely High: If you come across a character with an extremely high danger rating, you're in serious trouble. Such characters are extremely aggressive and likely to pick a fight simply for the fun of it. They also have very high levels of power, and rarely hold back (if at all). Talking to them is nigh-futile. If you can't put up a fight or run away, there isn't much hope for you.

Power Level: Read this for information. Second post.

Friendship Level: (split into six categories)
- Nonexistent: You have a better chance of winning an arm wrestling match against an oni, or attacking both the Fundamental Youkai at once and making it out alive. Don't even try. These characters are going to be hostile, rude, demeaning, and a whole bunch of other bad adjectives towards you. They'll probably attack you at the first chance they get.

- Very Low: These characters are not your friend, and would probably attack you rather than talk. They are likely to be highly unsocial for whatever reason (insanity, being a bloodthirsty youkai, just plain disliking everyone else, and if they don't outright attack you, they want you to go away as soon as possible.

- Low: Characters with a low friendship rating probably don't enjoy your presence. They aren't going to be nice to you. They could warm up to you if you got to know them, but it's difficult to get to that point with them. They may or may not care for your feelings, and they could pick a fight if you get on their nerves.

- Average: An average friendship rating usually means an interaction with the character in question will depend mostly upon your own behavior. The character will not be exceptionally nice or polite, nor will they be hostile or mean. It will be fairly easy to have a decent conversation with them if you're polite, but it's equally possible that they'll find you annoying. Be kind to them, and they'll probably be kind back. Be rude, and they'll be rude. Be average, and they'll... be average.

- High: Characters with a high friendship rating are fairly easy to talk to. Unless you're openly hostile or attack them, they'll probably be glad to have a nice chat with you. They're relatively unlikely to start a fight, though that depends on the specific character. They're quite likely to be fun and pleasant to be around.

- Very High: These characters are your friend (probably). They're usually kind, well-mannered, and unlikely to get in a fight unless somebody else starts it. They'll probably help you with something if you ask nicely, and they'll probably trust you (at least somewhat) unless you give them a reason not to. (Keep in mind that they may or may not be forgiving or merciful, even if they're the nicest person around.)
