Territories are created by the cats here in the city. Novices and Masters can create them, and they become the homes of cats that join the territories.They are in specified areas that are claimed and protected by the cats within the families...and they are just that, family units.
Jumping between territories, as in joining then leaving then joining another, is frowned upon. However, if your cat is born into a territory, they may leave quite easily--or, well, if the parents don't throw a fit about it, it can be easy.
Each territory has different temperaments, different walks of life, different ideals and different rules. Be sure to pay attention to these before joining. Each territory also holds different ways to join, so speak to the territory leader(s) before joining so you can become part of the unit!

Meaning you cant be part of two territories. They may be allianced with another, but you are still part of just one.
❝ YOU MAY CREATE YOUR OWN. ❞
Once your pet reaches Novice stage, they can own their own territory. However, they must have at least 3 followers before it is created in the guild.
❝ YOU MAY BE ROGUE. ❞
Rogues dont have territories and therefore are seen as a threat to others most of the time. Traveling between territories can be dangerous, but it's life as a rogue.
❝ YOU ARE NOT OFFICIALLY IN A TERRITORY UNTIL STATED BY THE LEADERS. ❞
Meaning you can be born into a territory, but you still have to be accepted in once you reach Novice stage. Newbies and below have the protection of the unit, but are not 'official', technically.

Your pet and their mate can run a territory together. Or they can do it on their own. Either way, they have to prove to other cats that they are leaders, so having an idea of what you want is important. Your followers can leave at any point as well, so it's a good idea to keep everyone involved...
