April looked at her wrist to check the time. It was a little late in the afternoon but there was still plenty of sunlight to burn. Her butt was starting to get sore from sitting in the cafe's hard wooden chairs. Her cold drink sat in front of her as she's been trying to talk to people in the cafe for a couple of hours now, doing her duty as an Aqua Grunt. Who knew recruiting people would be so hard? She sure as heck didn't understand the city life. Coming to Katarina all the way from Dewford Town was a huge culture shock for the teen girl. She sure didn't expect to be so far from home and she never considered that she would travel as far as an entirely new region!
The girl stretched out her short limbs, sticking her arms in the air and poking her legs out from under the table. She stretched for as long and as enthusiastically as she could as if the action could make her taller. A loud sigh/groan marked the end of her occupation of the wooden chair as she hopped up from her table casually grabbing her drink as she walked towards the exit. She chatted up everyone in the cafe anyway- and was pretty much ignored- so she might as well cut her losses and move onto another location. Buuuuuut... maybe another drink first.

Cassian hadn't really been planning to stop for coffee.. but with the look that Salem was giving him, he had a feeling he should at least get the pup something. "Dont look at me like that," he murmured, leaning down to the poochyena to pick him up under the front legs, getting a droopy-eared irritated look once he was lifted up, hind legs dangling. Cassian bit back a laugh, though his eyes showed his smile.
"It's this or back in the ball," he teen chimed, bringing the poochyena to his chest while stepping inside--only to get a yap from the pokemon when he, go figure, bumped right against a tiny girl. Cassian wasn't exactly small--so it didn't do much to him, but it did indeed make Salem shake himself free and click down onto all four paws on the ground, automatically sniffing at the girl's feet..whether she was still on her two feet or not. "I-I'm so sorry--are you all right?"

"Ah!" April gasped as she collided with the person coming in. Her drink fell from her hand, the contents of the half empty cup slowly dripping out of the sealed lid. Shoot, April thought in her head as she bent down to pick up the cup. Most of the liquid has fallen onto the floor and the small girl pulled napkins out of her pockets to mop up the small mess. It wasn't until she held the wet napkins in her hand that she saw the Poochyena at her feet. She gave the Pokemon a quick smile and looked up at the trainer.
"It's okay! I'm fine." April replied. She was fine, though she was surprised by the sudden collision. "It was my fault for standing in front of the entrance anyways. I was about to turn around and get a new drink. Are you okay?" She looked behind the trainer and saw people trying to enter as well. "Ah, we should probably move to the side." She started to walk towards the trash can to throw away the cup and napkins, but looked over her shoulder towards the male trainer. "I'm April."
