And they're off! First Snow is in the lead again, as she often is. She is closely followed by Makea Muta, Painted Lady and Niabi. The other horses run a little bit back, with White Knight bringing up the end.

The Turn:
Painted Lady has broke free from her tie with Niabi, and has rushed ahead of Makea Muta to take second. White Knight has started to move forwards to match pace with Sunlit Hare. There doesn't seem to be any horses facing trouble in this race.

The Final Stretch:
First Snow sprints forwards, not willing to give this race up, and finishes in first!
Some of the further back runners, taking advantage of the normal pace and the slow bias of the track today, run forward. Sunlit Hare, Caustic Sunshine and White Knight are both sprinting at top speed, but it's Sunlit Hare that moves the most. She steals second place in an amazing show of speed. White Knight and Caustic Sunshine seem to be tied for third, and we'll have to look at the photo. Painted Lady, Makea Muta and Niabi both seemed to be able to burst at the end of the race, and fell back with the rest of the runners.
