Germany sweatdrop 6 out of 8 DVD boxes are already available here but I dislike the German dub. I prefer watching it in Japanese with English subtitles. Perhaps someday I will just buy the VIZ version.

Germany!! I love Germany. I have family out that way. Never meant them but still family. I prefer the Japanese with English sub too. I'm from Ohio in the USA....even those I'd love to live in Japan.

I wanna go to Germany one day. My dad was stationed there in the army. Closest I've been to Germany was Italy.
I love watching compilation videos of the same scene in different languages, like transformations and stuff.

I'm always surprised to hear that people actually like Germany. I lived here for 26 years and I find it rather boring except during Christmas where we have so-called Christmas markets and at the end of summer/beginning of fall where we've got a lot of wine festivals.If you ever plan to go there, just visit the big cities like Munich, Berlin or Cologne. Everything else is pretty mediocre in terms of entertainment. sweatdrop
And I agree with the compilation videos! It's really cool to hear it in diferent langauges or to watch different intros. Some are better than the Japanese one and some are just ...so bad...
I find it interesting that the English and German intro is so different to the original Japanese one. The English opening is really catchy:

My favorite intro is the Italian one. I sang it all the time in Italy in hopes of finding an Italian Sailor Moon fan, but had no such luck. I also had no luck in finding Sailor Moon merchandise, despite the fact that half of the current merchandise are Italian products.
