Character Name:
Tama
Race:
Dovaa
Gender:
Female
Clan:
Kiandri
Appearance:
apprentice
As an apprentice, Tama looks as if she was painted without color. As if her very existence is pending on someone splattering colors across her. Long, silvery-white hair flowing in the wind. Light, almost silver, lavender eyes staring back at you. A pale complexion speckled with freckles, silver curling horns like a ram, and small silver scales. Her attire is very simple at this stage, a flowing silver robe loosely tied as she runs around barefoot. She is but a preview of the powerful Dovaa she will become once she connects with her clan.
adept
Once Tama joins the Kiandri clan, it's as if she was filled with a surge of power and color. Her eyes transform into a bright gold, inquisitive and attentive. Her flowing hair grows even longer as the silver is tinted with golden streaks, striking and reminiscent of electricity surging through her own hair. Her horns and scales grow in size, now sparkling and glittering with gold. Her pale skin remains just as ghostly white, but is now adorned with bright red war paint on her cheeks. She continues to wear robes, although they are now upgraded with a hood and a cape, silvery-blue in color. She wears one small necklace with a Thunderbird pendant.
expert
Every stage, Tama's hair seems to grow in length and the golden streaks increase. Her eyes are now an even fiercer yellow, and much more accusing than before. Tiny draconic wings peak out from behind, gentle to the touch as they grow in, golden and glittering. Her horns and scales seem sharper as opposed to the previous blunt shape, and her freckles have been replaced with scales on her cheeks. Her war paint seems to increase in size and vibrancy. She waves farewell to silky robes and forges her very first battle armor. It's simple but efficient, with a small electric blue thunderbird engraved on the front. Boots creep up to her thighs for extra protection.
master
Her wings have grown three times in size, able to wrap around her as a shield, with the edges sharp and pointy. She now wears full body armor, the mere process of forging took months of painstaking work and frustration. Thick, dragon-scaled metal with spikes for protection and boosted conductors, completed with a small headpiece that seems to work as her antenna. A mask covers everything but her fierce yellow eyes and the blood-red war paint peeking from behind it. Her hair has grown so long it now dangles along the floor and seems to surge with electric volts. Her armor is once again engraved with an electric blue thunderbird, although quite larger than the previous one. If forging the armor took a long time, then gathering the materials took five times as long. It is made of pure dragonscales, dense and merged together to create an almost impenetrable wall.
No dragons were harmed in the making of this armor.

Personality:
Tama is like the living incarnation of raging lightning. Hot headed and quick to temper, her eyes seem to flash with lightning when she is angered. She is passionate and strong in her beliefs, and if you dare to disagree, you'd better prepare for a thunderstorm. At the adept stage, as she is first coming into her control of lightning, she will shock (quite literally) anyone who disagrees with her. She doesn't understand why this is so unacceptable. "I was just showing them the error of their ways," she'll mutter in contempt. As she grows, she tries to control her temper, but it becomes untameable. The air around her seems to spark as her rage grows. She's angry and frustrated- she's angry at her race for choosing neutrality. She's angry at the Orderites for being too holier-than-thou. She's angry at the Oblivionites for being too chaotic. Why can't she just shock the world of Majesc into a better place? Her end goal is peace, like any other, but her means of getting there might be a bit harsher than the typical Dovaa.
Of course, once she's on your side, you could commit unforgivable acts and she would still defend you from slander. She may have an uncontrollable temper, but she also has fierce love and loyalty. She'd claw an Oblivionite's eye sockets out for a friend. In fact, her rage mostly stems from a strong sense of justice. She does care and the current state of the world disgusts her. She's convinced the only way to fix it is through hard work (and a lot of blood). She has a hard time maintaining Dovaa friends, as they shun her violent behavior and she hates their "don't get involved" attitude. How can they see the wrongs of the world and not do anything? Her biggest flaw, aside from her obvious temper, would be her inability to just relax and have fun. She's constantly angry and serious and frustrated, and doesn't even know the meaning of the term "goof off." What she needs most in her life is a friend to show her that it's okay to laugh, okay to be careless, okay to ignore her "duty" for just a while. When she's not on the battlefield trying to change the world, or losing her temper at fellow Dovaa, she can usually be found practicing or forging armor. On the battlefield, she is strong and powerful, but has a tendency to rush in blind without considering defenses and strategy. "Act first, think about it later."
Biography/Background:
Tama had a rough upbringing, as she never saw eye to eye with her full-blood Dovaa parents. They were the typical peaceful Dovaa, declining to get involved in the war as they chose the Civilian Path. They never understood where she got her anger and ferocity, as they were both patient and understanding- she seemed to be the only one in all of Majesc that could make them lose their kind patience. "It's a gift," Tama would brag with a smug grin. She would scream at their indifference until her voice would give up, to retire to her room and take her anger on the walls. This soon evolved into strategic training to relieve her frustrations, and soon after, she focused her efforts on learning to forge armor. Neither parent approved of her lifestyle and decision to become a Battler, but they soon came to terms with the fact that nothing they said would change their hard-headed Dovaa's mind. After an angry disagreement, they would smile with tears in their eyes and make her promise they'd never have to hear word of her demise. Tama would smirk and show off her latest move or armor, and assure them she would lead the Dovaa into a new era- an era of true justice and peace. She could never seem to make friends, and despite the loneliness she felt, she would insist she didn't need any "half-hearted, spineless Dovaa" in her life. One day she'd meet someone who would join her quest to save the world. She knew that Majescian was out there, waiting for her, somewhere. They would be partners-in-justice, and they would become legends.
Thoughts on the Great Engagement:
"You know why it hasn't ended? Because the Dovaa are too lazy! The Orderites are too in love with their own existence! The Oblivionites are too selfish! Just watch. I'll fix everything."
Thoughts on the Magescian Races:
"Who cares what you look like? It's what's on the inside that counts. What are you doing to contribute to the world of Majesc? Yeah, nothing, that's what I thought."
Thoughts on the Dragons and Khehora:
"I should only hope to be so lucky to meet them someday. I bet they'd fight by my side..."
