xxxxxThose words haunted Manaveris' parents most of her preteen life. Stricken with a rare illness that had no cure, the girl's future was admittedly bleak. Her parents smothered her, treated her with every luxury, but confined her to her home, dreading the day that their daughter would leave them. For her part, Manaveris hated it. If she was going to die prematurely, she wanted to do something with her life. She wanted to see the world.
xxxxxHer 15th birthday came and went, and still the girl lived on. When she was 19, she finally convinced her parents to let her go to Zatao, with no small amount of begging and pleading on her part, and certainly no small amount of resistance on the part of her parents. Soon after arriving in the foreign continent, she went exploring in the Rinaul Mountains, and ended up having an attack while hiking. She fell, suffering many cuts and bruises, many of them deep enough to scar. Luckily, she was found by a doctor who lived nearby, Dr. Siegfried Lothar. He helped her recuperate, and after a few weeks, she was off again, intent to explore the entirety of Zatao.

Personality: Manaveris hates to be tied down to anything, anywhere, or anyone. She knows that any day could be her last, so she lives to see what each day has in store. She's very headstrong, but seems to care deeply about anyone who manages to weasel their way into her heart. She's fairly naive as a result of her sheltered life.
