Background Information
Ushiko was born and raised in Hex Food World to two parents of the same species: Ushimaru, a legendary (within Hex Food World) Gourmet Hunter specializing in Knocking, and Ushisaki, a legendary (within Hex Food World) chef. Together these two ushioni formed a Combo, and eventually fell in love. When Ushisaki became pregnant, Ushimaru retired from Gourmet Hunter duty, opening a restaurant in Hex Food World that, true to their herbivorous nature, served only vegetarian dishes.
Growing up, Ushiko learned from her father the philosophy of never hurting another person, and never killing a living thing. Her mother taught her that food can promote peace, and that even two mortal enemies can get along while sharing a good meal. Though her father wanted her to become a Gourmet Hunter like him, Ushiko took after her mother, choosing to become a chef.
When she turned fifteen, Ushiko set out from Hex Food World to the Human World, aiming to become a famous chef and promote peace through food. Her parents gave her their blessing and did many things to ensure her journey would be easy, such as supplying her with her own wagon that could open up to become a food cart, two rappigs to pull it, and plenty of cooking supplies that... weren't in the best condition.
Upon reaching the Human World, Ushiko soon became a target of the Gourmet Corps for one reason: She is the only person in the entirety of the Human World who can cook with Minotaur Milk.
