The shore is on the northern side of Gotham near Wayne manor on the edge of one of Gotham's major rivers.

There was a small cove just on the northern shore of the river that passed behind Wayne manor. Grayson pulled the boat in slowly across the water to an cave inside the cove. It was a good place to hide and well hidden away. He knew his stuff around this area, still knew Gotham like the back of his hand.
Once they were up to some dry land he turned the boat off tossing a rope up onto the hard rock floor. The moonlight reflected off the water flowing into the cave lighting up the walls and ceiling just enough to see.
"Everyone out, we have to see what the damage is."
Kai was very drowsy on the ride away from the manor. She was trying to avoid passing out as much as she could. Falling quickly asleep despite her efforts she lay against the window of Bruce's boat completely out of it. (Bat Boat). She would have to be carried out, just as she was carried and set into the boat.
xxsoullessANGELUSxx Tim, just maybe talking with Grayson. He might be the one to suggest they see Gordon. Skuld HJG Can have Star carry Kai. She's kind of out of it at the moment.

Gently, the Tamarian princess had slowly came to and heard her beloved's voice -- everyone needed to be out of the boat. Vaguely remembering how she got there, glowing green eyes look at Kai once her snoring was heard. Stretching, Kori relieved the kink in her shoulders, and then slid over the carefully pick up Red Cardinal, "Easy there. We've ended our little ride. You and Richard pulled me out, and now I will do the same, Friend Kai."Carefully, Starfire picked Kai up and then floated up and off of the moored boat, "Beloved.... where are we to go now? Must we now.... find a box of cardboard to live?"

"Let's see if we are in one piece first."
He walked up to her and kept an eye on the 3 of them. There was a sense of relief at being able to escape the chaos but now they had to make sure that everything turned out okay. Grayson looked at Kai.
"She had just got up... She slept all day with Tim. And I had to carry you before. As soon as I know you both are okay I think we can go see Commissioner Gordon and let him know what's happened in this city."

Starfire nodded at Richard's suggestion, but a nagging feeling worked it's way to the surface of her mind, "Beloved, hopefully the Commissioner can aid us, but will that expose the fact that you are Nightwing, or that Wayne is the Batman, or the rest of the Family of the Bat? And what of Mr. Alfred? We got cut off from him during the fight?"

Robin adjusted the green diamond-shaped mask on his face. He stood up from his seat and leaned against the head rest, letting his dark cape settle after crossing his arms. He listened to the two of them, then glanced up to Kori.
"..... maybe it's a good thing if Commissioner Gordon knows...."
He looked between them, taking a short pause before continuing.
"I mean think about it.. we all know he trusts us. He wouldn't have worked with us for so long in the manner he did if he didn't......... we're thinning in numbers, our secret IDs seem to be dissolving before our eyes, so much so that the manor is under fire... I don't know about you, but if anyone tells him who we are, it should be us."
Robin had continued looking between Starfire and Nightwing as he spoke his thoughts.
".... maybe it's time to show that we trust him too."

"I agree. I know Gordon would prefer we tell him first too."
Grayson stood next to Kori once they were out of the boat inspecting Kai. He felt her forehead, realizing she was snoring subtly he knew she must have been drugged.
"Tim, you helped her to the boat. Do you remember her saying anything before she was out? Or remember if she was hurt... We'll have to carry her around with us. With what's going on we can't afford to leave anyone unattended or alone. So I'm not going to have anyone watch her alone either."

Tim stepped out of the boat to look at Kai as well.
"Yeah.... she was hit by a dart in the leg on the way out the 2nd story window."
Robin looked back to Nightwing, hoping the effects weren't too severe or deadly. It looked to him like the attackers were trying to capture them, so he doubted it would do anything more than knock her out for a while. Still, they couldn't be too careful.

"Thank you Tim. They wanted to capture her... Those were her parents, so I don't think they'd do anything on that basis alone."
d**k looked up to Kori with some concern now that he knew Kai would almost assuredly be fine.
"Are /you/ okay? IO did some damage to you, and that's saying something. I know how strong you are, you're people are resilient as you once said. I'm hoping that's still the case, in this upside down universe."

Starfire pulled the Titans' Communicator off her side and stared at the darkened display of the broken device. Forlornly, the Tamarian wondered out loud, "I wonder how our friend's faired against the host of this I.O. Do you know whether or not that they were victorious?"

And then unexpectedly, d**k Grayson's Titans communicator activated, "Oracle to Nightwing, needed to see if you guys were all right. Just managed to get through to you. What the heck happened in the manor? The news is covering the fire and assault that happened there. Are you guys alright?"
