Flaws/Disabilities: Kara is very weak in the light. Her body can't stay in direct sunlight for too long or she'll melt into a pool of shadows and be forced to hide in the dark for some period of time.
Secrets: Kara is really a hive of little tiny micro-organisms; that are living shadow. They they made the body and persona themselves to interact with people in the world... and they are carnivorous.

Powers:
Shapeshifting~ Kara is living shadow. So she can shape shift her body into many different things. She can't make more cells in her body then there already are though, and it is mostly an illusion. She actually always look like pure darkness.
Camouflage~ Kara can melt into any area made of shadow and completely disappear, but she can still be harmed and touched physically.
Devour~ If she gets a hold of a victim she can eat away their flesh and organs using any part of her body since she's really a bunch of little organisms combined.

Kara is the creature that inspires all other creatures natural fear of the Dark.. so there is very little she fears, but lots she dreads. She worries for he families nests in the trees and books and hopes that they will be all right. Her worst fear is that a nest will get burnt up in someones fireplace.
Personality: Kara is playful and childlike, because she is still new to being a "Human". She likes to read and do stuff regular people do. School is really fun to her and she enjoys the company of others very much.
Bio: Kara came to be when her hive started feasting on humans. The taste of human flesh is far better then any other creatures, but the humans were also much more interesting and difficult to hunt. Her hive learned a lot about humans as they stalked their prey, and they became very curious about the species. They gathered up their energy and formed themselves a body so that they could walk among the humans; using a tiny amount of magic to make the illusion of skin and clothes and such. They eventually learned that humans learn the things they do from schools, and decided it would be fun to partake in such an environment.
