Set back within a dense grove of towering pines and intimidating oak trees is Shadow's Hollow. The ranch house ranging back to the late seventeen hundreds, it is said to be haunted by some strange creatures that only come out in the perpetual darkness. Well, those that live within this small home aren't too sure about that, with fires ablaze in old stone fire places and cozy redwood interior, the ranch house is far from haunting. Standing out back nested within the thick trunks would be the barn one that could hold up to at least 15 horses with room to add on, give or take a couple turns to avoid taking down trees of course. It too is well lit, all, but just one stall that stands in the far back...

Outside the dense and ominous place and down a winding path that is best rode or walked to the training grounds for events. The main pasture and paddock are also located here, a distance away from the main house and stables, but with a certain 'guard dog', no one dares approach with ill intentions. Here the sun shines brightly as students practice for competitions and the like, all under the watchful eye of their teachers. So perhaps Shadow's Hollow ain't that scary after all, though you do have to wonder just 'who' lives within that blacked out stall... Dare to take a look?

At the first glance, Rhiannon is cold and quiet female who have no interest in anything that is happening around her and she carries herself with a grace of huntress, barely heard or seen. In social events, she doesn't seem to have that filter in her head that tells her what is right things to say and what is not right thing to say (that or she just simply ignores that filter) and will just spit things out at others then tell them to accept it because that's her opinion/feelings. Nobody will be able to predict what her mood will be like or what she will do because she is fluid and is subjected to shifting things really quick without any warning. With her loved ones, she is very playful, warm and affectionate and will go any distances to make them happy or protect them. She is very territorial and protective of the ones she called her loved ones.

Shadow's Hollow Stables is her life and she will always be found there, training or working with horses while leaving majority of paperwork to her sister. Rhiannon is a very focused and hard-working woman who will do anything to protect this stables and her sister at any costs. She is a very meticulous record keeper and keeps record of everything to her sister's delight and dismay.

Feminist to say the truth. She has little care for stallions and their ilk. To her mind, the only thing that they are good for are workers and breeding stock if they are good genetics.

Around the barnyard, she is a bit temperamental, while she might take on cross-country trail racing, but she hates being saddled. She is mostly ridden bareback and with a rope halter instead of traditional bit bridle.

Personality: Silent mare with cold eyes is the first impression to everyone else that this mare is a very cold and aloof personality and they couldn't be any more right about it. Lucia is an anti-social mare that only prefers the company of her mate, Raya. Like Raya, this mare is a feminist and looks down at the males due to her opinion that they are only good for breedings (only if they have good genetics and proven that they can produce strong offsprings)

Nobody wants to approach Lucia around the barnyard unless they really need to train her and get her ready for the races then there's another struggle waiting for them. Lucia hates being handled or having unnatural things on her body like saddles, brindle and etc so she would do whatever she can to get them off her body.

Cocky is one way to put this mare into perspective. She's always ready for a little friendly competition, maybe sometimes not so friendly. Her ego hasn't been all that dampened as her first races weren't the best. But she tries to keep spirits up and keeping on the wrong side of Lucia's temper. Always eager to make others eat her dust, most times literally, Niabi can be one of the most love-able around the stables. Loving on both mares and stallions, just to piss a certain mare to no end.

She sure does have a death wish.

Personality: Quiet stallion that likes to keep to himself in his stall or out in a huge pen where he will be training his racing skills due to his lousy start in racing world. Insecure about his abilities, Ciaran works more harder than other horses and refused to take a break despite his keepers trying to get him to stop.

Social-wise, he is one awkward male that doesn't really know how to interact with any horses outside his stables. The most common misconception about him is he's a mute.

Personality: Keme is a very headstrong and stubborn male with a passion for running and speed so he is always found in exercise pen or on the track, galloping at his fullest speed. This stallion is a charismatic and friendly when someone gets him to stay in one place but it is almost not possible to keep him in one place unless you stick him in a stall or trailer!

One of Keme's flaws is he becomes too excited a day before a race day or weekend to the point where he works himself up in a frenzy, so full of energy and always moving or running around or just plainly talking excitedly to other horses that are living with him. Sometimes that steam runs out when he's leading in a race and he falls back, but that determination kicks in and he will try to place in that race.

A spitfire of a filly, she loves to run. In open pasture is is hard to keep her in one place. The first out the stall door, sometimes before the handlers can attached a lead to her halter. This may very well transcend into her adult years. One can only wonder and perhaps hope.

With a love for the race track, his poor eye-sight makes things a little more difficult to manage. He is often seen standing in the shadows while grazing, the shade helping his eyes. The blinding sunlight makes it almost unbearable.

Deranged! She ain't completely straight in the head, having been passed from stables to stables. Her trust in human-kind has been broken and won't be the easiest to reclaim as she sees them all the same. Selfish creatures that walk on two legs who never think of anything other than themselves.

Born from a Thoroughbred /Mustang mix, she has taken the looks of her dam, but still can't deny the blood of her wild sire runs through her veins. Its what claims her mind, taking on the ways of her sire in the act of trusting a human before allowing it to grace her back. With such broken trust over the years, she was sold to the highest bidder in a recent horse sale, most shying away from the challenge. Sauda was doomed to the slaughter house before Palei and her sister found her. Now house in their spacious stables, her stall clad in metal and padded walls(For her safety and the safety of the others in the stables), Sauda has come to think her time here will be short lived.
