Mei HarperThe autumn leaves had begun to flutter towards the ground as Mei approached the building of Great Falls Academy. She took in a deep breath of the crisp air as the corners of her lips tugged upwards into a small smile. She had arrived early to school this time to get a fresh start on her senior year. Mei adjusted the small Navy blue tie around her white uniform collar, and walked towards the building. This is it. My last year attending the academy. I'm so excited. I wonder if this year, I'll be able to make some friends, Mei thought hopefully as she entered the school building. She dug into her Navy blue plaid skirt and pulled out a folded piece of paper, unraveling it to reveal her class schedule and her locker number for the year. Her first class was one of her favorite class electives that she had chosen: art. Mei quickly took off down the hallway, towards her locker. As she looked up from the paper she held in her hand, she gasped as she collided head on into another body. She thought she was the only student to arrive at the school so early. Mei stumbled backwards, dropping her paper as she rubbed her arm, " Oh gosh... I'm so sorry!" she apologized quickly.

London Rubel. Eighteen years old. Senior year at Great Falls Academy. She earned the nickname Trubel, or trouble around because of her rebellious ways. She stood around five feet four inches, an hourglass figure and totally the one for the guys. She was a total tomboy, but enjoyed it. She also had a troubled past but she didn't let that phase her, it only formed her to be the girl she was today
The alarm went off pretty early for London's liking, and grunted, and sat up fixing the mess of curls that happened overnight. Great, she had to straighten the chocolate locks. The honey colored eyes scanned the open bedroom, and the white curtains dancing gently with the breeze. Getting out of bed, picked the outfit of choice. It did fit into the school guidelines, but she added her own twist to it.
Once satisfied, she walked down the hallway of the one floor house, to the kitchen and grabbed a muffin and checked her phone, seeing her morning messages from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tinder and Tumblr. She kept up to date with all social media, and was pretty popular on them. She loved the popularity, even though they say popularity has a price, but it doesn't really. No bad things happen to her, ever. London walked out the door, and got into her 1967 Chevy Impala and drove down the street to her local Starbucks, and ordered her usual, and of course paid, and got her drink. The brown haired female, smiled before walking out.
Five minutes later, the female pulled up into the seniors only parking lot of Great Falls, and sighed. Today was the first day of hell, and only so many more days than she'll graduate and be free of school's death grip. School's had a grip for almost thirteen years on her. Collecting her items, shut her door, and locked it, before walking into the school called hell to her and walked down the hall. Barely anyone was there, but it was fine by London. Not paying attention, felt someone bump into her, almost causing her to spill her latte. Gasping looked to the blonde girl in front of her "Watch where you're going next time" London said, more like spat that like venom to the other girl and walked off to the music room, where her first class was. She was a talented girl, playing guitar, keyboard and singing. Along with drawing, she was a perfect girl to many.

Mei HarperMei flinched slightly as the girl snapped at her. Wasn't it good enough that she had apologized? She let out a heavy sigh, kneeling down as she picked up her class schedule from the tiled floor. Mei watched the brunette saunter away with almost teary blue eyes. Goodness... So much for trying to make friends, she thought with a sigh as she pulled herself to her feet. Without another word, Mei rushed herself towards her locker to prepare herself for the first class of the day. ~~~ As the day progressed into lunch, Mei walked down into the large cafeteria. She carried her lunch bag closely to her, along with her light blue backpack as she made her way along the back wall. She took a seat on the ledge of a concrete wall that surrounded a small display of lifeless plants, as she had for the passed four years of her life. Many people had gawked at her, whispered about her, but Mei simply ignored their comments. She knew she had no friends, but it wasn't as though it were her top priority. She was happy with her drawings and her books and hobbies. Mei pulled out a sketchpad, laying it out on her lap, before displaying her simple lunch of an egg salad sandwich and a bottled iced tea. She held her violet mechanical pencil in one hand, and her sandwich in another, as she carefully began sketching on an incomplete sketch of what looked to be a girl wearing a headset.

London only snickered at the weaker blonde in the hallway. London didn't have a caring for helping others. It was just of her nature, unless it was her family or friends. It didn't phase London on the weakling that bumped into her. Clearly this girl didn't know London well enough, or she would've avoided her path.
London arrived in the music room, and was able to unwind by herself. Until a class came in, then she'd be herself. She went over to the Grand piano in the corner of the class, isolated by itself. London was always taken away by it's beauty, after all the years it's been here and all the classes that come and gone through the four years with London, and years before. Sitting on the bench, opened it, revealing the black and white keys, and London cracked a smile. Many things laid hidden behind the honey eyes, never revealed to the student body, ever. She started playing a few notes to the song All of Me by John Legend. A favorite to play on the piano for the brown haired female. The teacher walked in. He was tall, wore glasses, always with a button down shirt, tie and black pants, usually black shoes to match. He'd let London come in before class and after class to play.
A few hours passed, and it was lunchtime for London and the rest of the seniors at the school. The woman walked in fearlessly, and the others moved from her path. Some chattered among themselves, and some looked to the female. Walking to her table, she sat down and talked among her friends. The honey eyes looked to the courtyard and saw the blonde that bumped into her. She chatted and was telling how she pushed her down. Of course that was an obvious lie, and the girls got up and went out to Mei and circled her on the wall. I see you like to bully our girl London." Once said glaring at London, as the female walked out the small pats of her vans across the titled ground, and popped between two of her friends. "Yep. That's her. Made me almost pour my hot latte over myself." She said acting innocent but smirking at the blonde sitting on the wall.

Mei HarperMei did her best to ignore the harsh comments that were being flooded her way. She quietly drew in her sketchbook of the lonely angel. A sad look flashed over the girl's face as she let out a heavy sigh. Perhaps I should stop eating in the cafeteria... I think that girl is going to bully me. Mei thought as she scarfed down the rest of her sandwich. Unable to even allow herself to get a drink of water, Mei tossed the full water bottle and the crumpled paper bag into the trash bin near her. As she did so, a couple of girls approached her. Their sneers frightened her. They had obviously overheard the conversation from London's table and approached Mei to confront her about it. " We heard that you nearly picked a fight with London this morning! What were you thinking?! Are you stupid or something?!" one girl asked angrily. Mei stood up from her seat, shaking her head quietly at the girl. She slung her backpack on her shoulder, hugging her sketchbook towards her. The other girl roughly took a hold of the sketchbook, ripping it from her arms. " Don't mess with London! Got it?!" she threatened as she tossed the book into the trash bin. The girls laughed as they walked away victoriously from the stunned blonde. Mei gasped as she let her bag fall onto the floor. She didn't care who was watching her at that point. She rushed towards the trash bin, and began fishing for her sketchpad. Tears welled up in her bright oceanic eyes, causing her vision to blur.
