Rowe was in the mist of cooking breakfast and her ear twitches some as she hears him come in. She shyly looks down some as he walks closer to her and tenses up some as his hand is rest on her shoulder. She looks down some as he speaks, taking a deep breath. "I'm not used to being around men and the ones I was around....usually yelled at me or....or they....they would beat me..." She replies after a moment, her eyes tearing up some as she thinks about it. She doesn't think he would hurt her like that, but the past is still burned into her head.

~Zero Mitaki~ ~Demon Slayer~  I'm a fighter, not a lover.......Zero frowned at the young neko's answer. It would certainly explain her shy and timid behavior around him. Had he known that men were the cause of her grief, he would have been more sensitive about the subject. He would stay silent at first, unsure of how to reply. However, seconds later, Rose would feel him get closer as he placed both of his hands on her shoulders. It wasn't a hug, but more of a comforting embrace. He leaned in a bit and spoke softly into one of her cat-like ears. "You will never receive that sort of treatment while you are here my dear. I'd sooner die than see you hurt in any way. So please, just try to relax and enjoy your new life, okay?"...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose looks down as silence fell over the room, her bottom lip trembles softly. She looked back at him after hearing him speak, tears forming in his eyes. She hugs him tightly, her body just seemed to move on its own but she still couldn't help but embrace him. She doesn't realize how much she is pressing against him but none the less does.

~Zero Mitaki~ ~Demon Slayer~ I'm a fighter, not a lover.......Zero peered down towards Rose as she turned to him, tearing welling up in her eyes. It didn't surprise him when he saw this. She was a very sensitive girl as far as he knew. What did come to a shock to him though was her sudden embrace. Did his words really move her that much? He supposed that hearing that she would be safe and happy finally let her feel more open. Hen would smile softly at her sudden affection, returning it by hugging her back with one arm. The other wrapped around and came up to her head, he softly rubbing one of her ears to comfort her. He knew that his previous words were enough, now in silence as he held her close. It was kind of nice for him actually since it had been a long time since he has felt such warmth and comfort. ...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose flinches some when he hugs her back,her ears resting on top of her head when he starts to pet them. She seems to relax a bit and slowly starts to purr to his affection. She slowly closes her eyes, turning into putty under his gentle touch. She snaps herself out of this daze and looks up at him. "I should get back to making breakfast..." She says softly and smiles at him, feeling so safe in his arms. Yes it was quite embarrassing but it was a nice change in how she was usually treated. She secretly wants to stay in this embrace for a bit longer but it would be a spoiled thing to ask.

~Zero Mitaki~ ~Demon Slayer~ I'm a fighter, not a lover.......Zero couldn't help but smile widely at her sudden cat-like behavior. He found it rather adorable actually as she went totally relaxed and submissive. Hopefully this all meant that she would unwind a bit and be more comfortable here. One less thing to worry about. When she mentioned returning to preparing breakfast, his hug would loosen, letting her go to do as she pleased. He would, however, pet the top of her head one last time. "Right, make whatever you wish. I'll come back and eat with you once I get some paperwork done. Sadly, my job has it's boring parts." Regardless of his friendly smile, he would sigh. He loved his job, but crunching numbers for it was a drag. With that in mind, he walked off towards the forbidden room, he always doing all things job-related in there. ...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose got working on a breakfast, she again made a tray for her master and placed it at the door, giving a small knock. "Your food is here,masters..." She says softly before going back to the kitchen, she grabbed a small plate with some food on it. Most of the food went to zero and she got the ugly looking left overs. Soon she was surrounded by the wild cats but didn't seem to mind as she hand fed them. Any kind of cat likes her and she seems to like them equally as well.
