sierra smiled at the other "you were injured, what could I do? Leave you to tend to yourself? My mother would never have forgiven me if I were to leave another injured without at least offering to help and nor is it in my nature to anyway. Also, I think you are right about that, my grandfather nearly froze my father to death when they met each other, older adult male hanging around a yearling woman, both slowly but surely falling in love with each other, my grandfather started to freeze him slowly as to just torture him from the bottom up when he started to interrogate him as to why an adult male wants to hang around a yearling woman, my grandmother wasn't pleased but at the same time she let her daughter speak and explain the situation and was a tiny bit more understanding but my grandfather...well, he had other ways of getting answers out of what seemed to be a perverted old man.

So it is a good thing you don't cross my family, who knows what a weaponsmith and an ice cream maker...no, scratch that, you don't know what a weaponsmith could do to you, my mother is a sweetheart, she can hold..." before she could finish the sentence a voice spoke up.

"A grudge?" The male's voice said as he smiled at the Flutter.

"Yes, that" she said as she turned around and looked at Red and smiled "Red, hi!" She said as she jumpped up and hugged him "how have you been!?"

Red smiled at the Flutter and hugged her back "I have been fine, your mother still isn't talking to me but at the same time I don't blame her for what happened,Maria has explained the situation and that she has still got a job there, your mother has calmed down I hear but it will be a while till I can talk to her, still we are family, as Maria has also explained, so I still have a home there just that right now I think it is best I stay here" he said as he kissed the Flutters cheek "it is nice to see you though, you been well?"

"Yes, I have been good, still get tired a lot and need to take it easy and I still like to remain in my room but I promised Blue I would hang out with her today ever though that has been changed to me hanging out with him instead" she said as she gestured to the vampire behind her. "Red, this is my new friend, Yue, long story short, Blue and I were picking oranges for mother and we came across him and another and stuff happened and I ended up wanting to spend time with him as I found him far more fascinating then my sister and hence why he is here and yes I have cleared it with Tira."

Red smiled at the Flutter "well then, I guess you will be making it up to Blue" he chuckled as he saw her nod and looked to the male 'pleasure to meet you" he said as he gestured them inside "your table that is usually reserved for the family had to be given to a party of Griffins today. I wouldn't usually but this is some sort of important business meeting or something and they promised to give this place a huge tip, meaning, I can renovate this place on it and still have money left over to buy a nice new home for Maria and I here, I couldn't say no" he said as the grinned.

"That is awesome! Then we can go..." she said as he shook his head.

"There is one table free that no one has booked at the moment, want it? It is a table for two so it will do you two fine."

"We will take it!" Sierra said as she nuzzled him "thank you!" she said as Red turned to lead them to the table.

"Lunch awaits" she said to Yue as she gestured for him to follow Red who had started to walk towards the table that was situated near the back of the place. "The ones that don't wish to be vampire are the ones I feel sorry for" she said as she started to follow Red "to be forced to live a way you never wanted would be horrible."

"Well good, because I would rather not be acquainted with one who cares to kill another just because they are hated but yes, I understand that sometimes killing ponies is needed, I am not a fan but even I would kill if need be, anyone would, if family is threatened or something and the only way is to kill another then I will do it no matter how much I hate it."

"Maybe not cut ties with that past family entierly, sometimes they may just come in handy when you least expect it" she said as she ate some more and shook her head "nope" she said as she swallowed "it isn't my most favorite place to go but I don't mind going there as long as I am with someone, I know better than to go alone to that place and I know not to take unnecessary risks if I don't have to."

Blue nodded "oh don't I know that? Compliments are nice, I agree, but I have seen so many yes mares and yes stallions in my Grandfathers life just to see what they can get out of him that their empty compliments are horrible to hear and awkward to when my grandfather knows they are just there to please him. My grandfather doesn't get rid of them because he likes his ego stroked a little but also they were for pretty the glitz and glamour of the job, if they get seen around Jack Frost then they will get a free perk at the salon or a free coffee or even a free meal along with what my grandfather will give them as payment which but it makes them feel special and they get an odd bonus every now and again by way of a weekend holiday away or whatever so they are happy to hang around for the chance to get those odd bonuses even if it is just awkward and sad to see them lowering themselves to do this just for material perks."

Red placed a menu in front of them both, a 'special' one in front pf the male and then gestured to one of the wait staff, a fellow vampire whom he thought would probably make the other feel a little more at ease being around a customer who was one and would be less awkward asking for blood as well. "Before I go I would just like to say that he will be your waiter today, he is a fellow Vampire and I stock the highest quality of blood, all take n from the aristocrates who have willingly allowed their blood to be taken for a small payment of their choosing within reason.

Of course, if you don't want hoity toity blood we do have normal as well, all willing givers and just a few types of animal blood that is listed in the back of your menu" he said pointing to the Vampires "is a blood menu, tell your waiter what you want and he will happily get it for you. Also, don't worry about drinking it in public, it comes in a glass bottle that you can't see the contents of and silver cup. The diners know what it is but they also know that they don't dine here if they are not comfortable with such things so no one will care as long as yiu don't want to drink from the source" Red said as he smiled at them both "if you want me I will be out back" he said as he turned and left the two to it.

"Thanks Red" Sierra called as she looked at the waiter "hi, at the moment we will just take a drink" she said as she smiled at her 'date' "I will take a lemonade and a mint shake, double ice cream and double thenwhipped cream with lots of chocolate syrup on top please" she said, deciding to order their drinks first before answering his questions, she was terribly thirsty so the sooner she got her drunks the better.

Blue dropped her spoon and just looked at the other in disbelief, did he just say Merridan? Not many ponys go by that name around home and especially no other dragons she had heard of "you have half siblings, at least one lot I know about" she said, having composed herself a bit "a Pegasus my mother knows is his mate, Silverwind, they had three children if I recall correctly. If you would like I could ask Silverwind if she would mind meeting with you, one of her daughters as well at least, she is a sweetheart, I am more than certain she wont say no, she knows what his mate used to be but she wont turn any child away that was partly his 'fault' they came into this world."

Blue finished up her ice cream and walked over and grabbed the cart and put the dishes onto it and then left it by the table for her uncle to collect and blushed a little at the compliment "thanks but I had to learn from an early age, when someone wants my family dead you had to learn how to handle yourself in a fight or even just for basic defence and Sierra is amazing at that! She might not look it since she is frail and gets tired easily but put her in a dire sistuation where her familys lives are on the line and you are pretty much looking at an Amazonian warrior. Sierraa was one of the fastest learners of how to fight ever but then she does sit in her room most days, all day, reading many things so I guess she has had a sort of head start on the rest of us" she said as she grinned a little to herself, thinking of her sister and hoping she was enjoying herself and then smiled at the other "don't worry about it, half the time I forget my manners and I sociallize ONLY when I want to, I know it all as my mother made us learn it but I suck at keeping it up half the time, I am a Tom Boy so I go the line of a lot of guys, unless in public or around their parents etc don't bother using them so I don't.

And my grandmother loves sincere compliments, she can tell the diffrence, when you are mated to my grandfather you have to learn and fast, so she has just tuned out the yes sayers and just learnt to listen to the sincere ones" she said as she stretched "lunch? Surelybwe shoukd be able tk get a table now".
