A Smirk tugged at the detective's lips. Even if Leon wasn't capable of beating her, she had to admire his determination, and bravery to try. Her finger slowly depressed the trigger, before an IMMENSE blast of almighty energy slammed into him, boosted by her focus the previous turn. It was a blast of energy he likely wouldn't forget, and even as the dust would clear she'd have her finger on the trigger again, waiting for his move.

Leon was floored, sent flying back and tumbling to the ground.
He would lie there, looking at the ceiling of the cavern the arena was housed in for a few moments, before... "Heh..." A sound, "Heheheheheh..." He stirred on the ground for a moment before dragging himself to his feet. "You've certainly got power, Kouhai... But so do I!!" With an unexpectedly loud clap, Leon brought his hands together and interlocked his fingers, as he started to glow, "Gemu giru gan go gufo..." He chanted, before thrusting his joined hands into the air, "Hell and Heaven!!!" With a yell, a powerful blast of almighty energy crashed down from the sky over Naoto, as Leon himself was awash with a healing light Quote: Attack: Hell and Heaven [High Almighty damage to all enemies, Mediarama effect on allies] Regenerate 3

Naoto braced herself as Leon took her attack, watching him get back on his feet. She couldn't help but be impressed that he endured a balst like that....And then further impressed as he retaliated with his own magical blow. Even if the blast wasn't as strong as hers, it was far from negligible.
"G..Good move, Mori-Senpai." she stated, before swinging her weapon out, and sending out a slash of tainted energy."But that's not all that I have. I hope you're prepared.." While her slash would do a healthy amount of damage, there was an addition to her attack that could very well cause Leon more problems.
She landed on her feet gracefully after the slash, still holding her weapon at the ready. She still had a much stronger move under her belt...and if Leon wasn't felled by her current blow.... A determined smirk found it's way onto Leon's face, as he threw both of his arms out to the side, "Oh, I'm prepared. BRING IT ON!" No attempt at a block, Leon took the blow head-on, once again falling from his feet, only to stagger back up again a moment later. "I... ain't done yet!" He faced Naoto again, glowing as Razgriz came into view behind him, and as with Rinku before her, Naoto would find a massive fiery explosion right before her.
So far Leon had done better than most may have expected. He was durable, if nothing else. And while the chances of him ultimately winning weren't exactly high, he had no intention of giving up. Quote: Attack: Ragnarok [Severe Fire damage + High fire boost] Regenerate 3

It was a good move. Leon's burst of fire was most definitely not something that could easily be ignored...even by himself.
The burst of fire that exploded under Naoto seemed to almost disperse, before bursting back towards Leon himself. The badge on her chest shone, it's magical spell having finally triggered from his burst of fire. It deflected the spell towards it's caster, but that was far from Naoto's move. She lunged forth as the spell would wash over Leon, she lunged forth with her weapon, aiming a powerful slash to try to finish him off.
Vorpal blade!
Even then, she had one more trick up her sleeve...if it came to that.

Leon knocked the blast of fire away, it barely singing his demon arms, before the slash ripped and tore at his body.
Falling to a knee, clearly starting to feel the effects of the fight, but still couldn't help but smile. "I still... Even if you strike me down, I still got one more trick up my sleeve..." He struggled to his feet and held his arms to the side again, His confidence would strike a sense of uneasiness into most. "Give me your best, Naoto-Kun!"

Well, he was tenacious..That was for sure.
Naoto couldn't help but just be proud of the Investigation team member. Even if he hadn't been around as much lately, and his powers hadnt' developed as much as everyone else.....
He was still worthy of a tip of the hat.
"You've asked for it...You will be getting it." Naoto stated, sounding almost cocky. Was the battle finally getting her riled up?
She raised up her gun at this, an incredible mass of energy gathering at the gun...Before she pulled her little trigger what she hoped would be one last time.
Starring Inferno! she thought, before BLASTING Leon with an Intense, white Hot Surge of Almighty energy. Though she was using quite a bit more energy than she likely should have spent...against an opponent like Leon, she had a feeling she'd have to go all out, all at once to defeat him.
