What is the status of zOMG!

I'm not sure if this can be considered games still but here goes,
Will the people who earned the Heralds of Chaos achievements before the game went down ever get them granted?

Do all the artists actually look at the Avatar Item Glitch Report Thread or is it just a couple because there've been so many issues recorded that have never been acknowledged, even right after the item is released and as a user who has reported issues it gets frustrating and I have to wonder if it's worth bothering to report at all, let alone taking the time to be inclusive about the reactions (instead of "a doesn't mesh with b" I'll see how it meshes with c, d, etc.. as well before reporting).

So can you give us an option to trash soulbound and or frozen items?
I want to get rid of them!

Can you please add a "block avatar" option? I really dislike seeing gory/explicit avatars and have nothing to do about it other than ignore the user. I don't like ignoring people, especially if it's a friend, and I'd really like if we could just block the avatar. That way people can wear whatever they want, but people who don't want to see it don't have to.

there is a mini comic coming out soon that was voted. but there were also plenty of other ones who aren't getting made because they didn't win the poll. so i'm wondering if you guys will give the artists some time to maybe do some of them too? a lot of people would like to know more about those NPCs and they all seems to have interesting topics, it'd be a shame to keep them in a folder and never look at them anymore

Gaia Cash Offers.

Whenever I try to do gaia cash video offers I get the message "Watch the video below for free Cash!

but nothing happens and when i try and click for the video to load, it doesn't load. I've even tried clicking on the different video offers and it still won't load. Is there going to be a fix for this?

Would it be possible to see an overhaul of the alerts and notification tabs in the drop-down menu for account settings?
Both Alerts and Notifications relate to emails, but yet to turn off pms for site activities is in the general account settings option and to turn off marketplace pms somehow has made it's way to being located in the edit shop menu, which doesn't make sense.

Alerts could relate to notices
Notifications could still relate to emails (There's already a section under notifications called alerts, so uh.. there's a weird situation there.)
and mayhaps a new tab for Pms settings?

We've been getting more arm and leg mods that respect our diverse skin tones which is great. However, for those of us that use other skin tones besides the base ones, will artists consider using more transparent bases so that they are friendly with alternate skin mods such as vampire, grombies, Hoarfrost Pass, body dyes, etc.?

I find that I cannot use some of the new items because my character is not white nor the base shades of skin.

This is more of a personal complaint, but for future events with the Battle System in place can Evasion be removed? RNG Based Evasion is incredibly frustrating, and missing an attack at an important moment (like when a Boss is only 18 HP away from being KO'd) makes it feel like a wasted effort, and takes the fun out of the event. It's even worse with bosses, as they restore their HP after the battle if they're not finished off and negate any sense of progression and accomplishment. There were a lot of issues with the Halloween Event this year, but this one's my biggest pet peeve.

Almost two years ago, when Heralds of Chaos lost support, a couple of the developers mentioned that people who still have unused Chaos Cash will get a GC refund at some point. People in Customer Support didn't seem to have too much information regarding this aspect and the issue has been in cold storage for months. I have money locked in the dead game I'd prefer to use in the CS but no way to get it back. $5 is still $5, or even more especially you have to factor in currency exchange rates in the equation.

Could you guys please remove the limitation on the advocates hat, scarf and weapon? I had been trying throughout the entire event to get the scarf and weapon and still haven't gotten them yet. In the last few AtS sessions, Narumi's been giving answers that make it sound like you're actively gathering ideas for your next update / overhaul of the Marketplace system. That being the case, I wanted to offer a suggestion for a possible Marketplace feature, regarding the price graphs. Take a look at these Marketplace graphs I screenshotted:




I despise when this happens, and it happens far too often. One obviously uncharacteristic sale effectively destroys all other data by forcing the vertical scale of the graph to be so large that all other data points are functionally identical. These graphs tell me absolutely nothing worth knowing.

I'd like to request an optional display mode for the Market Price graphs; you might call it an Outlier Removal mode. When this mode is active, the code that generates the graphs would react to an ABP that's at least 1,000 times that of the previous day by ignoring that day's ABP and the next two when calculating the graph's vertical scale. Then, when displaying the Market Price graph, any data point that's beyond the graph's vertical scale would just display as a red mark or line at the top of the graph, to indicate an ABP that is literally off the charts.

Feel free to tweak, of course. Just conserve the basic idea; prevent one obvious outlier from rendering the Market Price graph totally useless until a full month passes and the outlier gets scrolled off the graph. (If a sudden bizarre jump in price actually stabilizes, this mode as I've described it would not block that data because it only blocks the initial skyrocket and the next two days, and then only from vertical scale calculation.)

I have a question about the user made limited items, how do you decide when to release them? I've noticed that two of the pop culture items where released on days that relate to the item; Wayward Son by Hi-Potion was based on the show Supernatural and released on April 3, the same day the episode Taxi Driver first aired and my own item, The Box of Pleasure and Pain based on Hellraiser, was released on October 5, the same day as Clive Barker's birthday, the man behind the beloved cult horror franchise. I was just wondering if the dates are intentional or happy coincidences.

I do notice that quite a lot of items coming onto Gaiaonline look an awful lot like the characters from games, movies, etc. I've even spotted avatar's that look remarkably like Elsa smile However, Olaf seems to be missing from the website!

Question - My wife uses a tablet as her primary browsing tool for Gaia, and while the site is fairly user friendly on the tablet, their are a few things that are incredibly difficult/impossible to do on the tablet. I suppose the most pressing for us is the shops. Navigating into the shops is tedious with the multiple click and load procedure. (Click on the shop, wait for the background to change, hit enter.) But the biggest issue, and my main issue is the shop itself. There is a pay with gold, and pay with cash option. If she mis-clicks, then hits confirm that's it. The cash is gone, spent on an item that we could have spent gold on.

Will there be a shop fix to make them more user friendly, and if so will it translate well to a portable device like a kindle?

I know Gaia is heavily influenced by Japanime, but can we get a more variety of modern pop culture from other nations in our items?

Comic books are a plenty here in America and not all revolve around the Avengers or Justice League. If someone can just look through some more famous works like Sandman or Transmetropolitan, that would be neat. Though if you want to stick with well known Marvel / DC comics, there are so many, many many many characters out there that have yet to be explored that look awesome.

I'm a big supporter of the idea of Gaia one day connecting every virtual space together via Towns 2, so the zOMG! maps being added was very exciting news to me. Just wandering around meeting new people is an adventure, and the more areas we have, the more it feels like our own little world.

My question is concerning the lag. Is there going to be an announcement about this being improved on soon, or is that on the backburner?

I also feel that if we got the lag under control, we'd see more people actually going to the new zOMG! maps in Towns 2. Barton is an awesome area, but every time I visit it it's barren and slightly lags due to the size and animations going on there. Maybe a different 'starting point' than Gambino Isle would help too, as that would give people the choice of where they want to go.

Could you raise the gold fees related to the guilds? It strikes me as the perfect permanent gold sink, as mentioned here, and all fees related to them are practically on the status of 'you're not paying any gold for this stuff.' 2,500g for a sub-forum is nothing at all now, and as I'm not one who normally buys items, I wouldn't mind my gold being sunk into buying features for guilds 3nodding Between the gold generators and boosted pay-outs for Daily Chance and Pink Links, I have a LOT of gold sitting there doing nothing ^^; It'd be a perfect chance to update them, too, without involving GC! smile

We Plot fanatics recently unearthed some old evidence of a connection between the old zOMG! forces of Ghi and Null and the current plot with the Gods and Nyx. "Nyxian energy", to be precise.

So, hopefully this one's vague enough that you can answer it without spoiling anything big... if there's Nyxian energy, are there other energies for the other sons of Gaia? Like, for example, Meilian energy?

Is there a limit on how humanoid the artists are willing to get with the Paws skins? Like, do you have a line, or is it "anything non-human goes"?

Personally, I'd love to see more of the little magic races -- elves, fairies, sprites, imps, goblins, brownies... and having an ElfTech skin would be amazing for the holidays, but apparently some others feel this might be cutting it too close to 'small human'. I'd like to know your take on it.
