It took some time for me. I always dated guys. As a girl coming from a very strong religious background, I was terribly confused when I first told my best friend that I had a crush on her. I guess I always kind of knew that I did, but I hadn't figured it out yet. I'm actually pansexual though. I'm not sexually attracted to either sex because of their looks, only their personality. I literally just fall in love with someone's personality and then really see them for how they look later. I'm not attracted to either gender specifically, just whoever has the best personality at the time. Figuring out I was pan took a LOT longer than figuring out that I liked her though. I guess I've really only figured that out in the last year or so. I'm 19 currently, so surprise. XD

I've always been pansexual, never have been able to see appearances as the beauty factor-- Always been attracted to others based on personality.
So, I had developed crushes on both girls and I never knew it wasn't normal until I was 12-- In Sex-Ed. That's when I realized that I'm 'supposed' to be attracted to the opposite gender only.
The same day, I went home and asked my parents about it and kinda came out? I never really talked to others about my feelings and junk, so my mom automatically assumed that is was a phase.
I'm 19 now & nothing has changed, lmao.
As for the bigender thing, it's a little different. I never really saw myself as a boy or a girl, but kinda both and, sometimes, I'd see myself more as a girl and sometimes more as a boy. I never spoke to ANYONE about this (even my friends, who I had told my sexuality)
I didn't "come out" until last month, only because I finally figured out that there is a gender identity I fit in.
Again, mom thinks it's a phase even though I tell her I've had this in mind ever since I was a child-- Oh well.
TL;DR - I've known ever since I was born but p much no1 believes me.

i never realized i was bi until middleschool and was in denile aboiutit until college. but up until middle school i had always thought it was normal to like boys and girls and that everyone was like that so i didnt feel a need to try and put a name to it. i never knew any same sex couples so im not sure how younger me thought everyone liked anyone but i did. it wasnt until a really shitty middleschool sex ed class and some shitty teachers saying horrible stuff that i felt i was wrong.

When I was a baby. cat_neutral Never stayed in boy or girl clothes and mixed them together. By the time I was 5, I was already feeling I'm genderqueer. cat_mrgreen
