He offered her a smile and shook his head as she apologized, "No, I'm sorry." countered the boy with an apologetic expression plastered on his face. He soon felt bad as she talked about her grandmother, perhaps he should have kept quiet from the start, his eyebrows cringed for a split second but he soon returned to being all smiles. "Don't cry, it wouldn't be wise for a pretty girl like you to frown." the incubus gently placed his hands on hers, smiling and trying to provide comfort but soon pulled away and leaned back into his chair as Haru offered her a hug.
He looked away from them, a little annoyed but hardly noticable as he still has a gentle expression on his face, a little envious as to how to can express their feelings in such a carefree manner. Sadly, he wasn't able to. His heterochromia eyes soon gazed at the artificial daisy in his hands, gently caressing the white petals as his expression softened into a genuine smile. He really liked the greenhouse, sadly they'd have to leave once the chemistry teacher comes back, since it is sort of off limits to students if there's no teacher accompanying them. Dyani flinched when she felt a pair of slender arms around her, but she relented and leaned into Haru's embrace with a slight smile. "Thank you," she murmured quietly, leaning away once the embrace was ended. She looked at Alvah and reached out, touching his hand with hers. Something about the look in his eyes made her feel something wasn't right with him. What could it have been, though? All that'd happened was Haru giving her a hug... Puzzled, she offered a smile, giving his hand a gentle squeeze, then released it and leaned back.Her legs were tucked securely under her body, and she gaze a yawn. The girl looked around her at the greenhouse, chewing her lip. "I wonder who takes care of this place..." she murmured thoughtfully, smiling happily. Whoever it was, they did a splendid job. She stretched her slender arms over her head, stretching out her lithe muscles.

He quirked his eyebrows in surprise as he got a little confused as to why she had done so, but soon realises it and smiled, gently patting her a couple of times on the hand before she lets go. Such a sweet girl, though. He hooked the artificial daisy around his bag zipper since he doesn't have anywhere safe to keep it. He would end up crushing it if he were to keep in in the bag though. Dyani nodded her head in a fierce agreement with Alvah. She, herself, continued to scan the room and inspect it. It smelled so fresh, so comforting. She couldn't help but smile giddily. It made her feel happy and at ease. The brunette looked at her companion with expressive, round eyes. Pulling her bottom lip between her teeth, she laughed lightly. The feeling and smell of the greenhouse was almost intoxicating. It made her want to run. It made her want to shift. However, she refrained, and, blushing heavily, she looking away from Alvah. "Back home, in my village, my grandmother kept all of our flowers and greenery healthy. She took time out of her day to talk and sing to each and every plant," the girl reminisced, "even if everyone told her it didn't make them grow any more. She swore it did." The shapeshifter looked down at her hands, interlocking her fingers and smiling fondly. "Sometimes I wonder if she really was right."

He chuckled a little before nodding at her words.
"Everything happens if you believe hard enough, right?" countered the male in an instance, soon holding his palm up apologetically as he realised he lost his cool. Home, it's only been a day away from hom and he's already missing his siblings like crazy. His phone buzzed a couple of times in his pocket but he ignored it, wouldn't be wise to answer it in the middle of a conversation and it's probably just his brothers who called in attempt to annoy him. While the pair were off looking around, Haru did some searching herself. In a far cranny of the room, she found what she was looking for...a venus flytrap. She smiled and poked the plant gently. Cute little thing.No one ever seemed to like them...
