Hello and welcome! Here are the answers to a few of the questions posted in our pre-event thread! Please don't duplicate the questions listed below as the answers we have given are as complete as we can make them at this time. If you had a question in our thread that did not get answered, feel free to ask again in the event.

There are times where I would like to purchase more than 1 of an item at a time as it can be quite annoying when buying in bulk. (especially when we have rigs in gold shops)

We wanted to let all our players know that Pink links have been updated to provide additional amount of gold for our players. We implemented this change to provide our new players the chance to get some gold to be able to purchase items through the market place without being forced to purchase Gcash for them.
We are currently aware economy issues, and we are taking steps right now to improve the overall economy for all our players.

Those were fun! I loved learning more backstory regarding our NPCs. Could we have more of them? Or even better: A CI based on the plot or vice versa. The Nyx vs Gaia plot from the Airship Saga would be a great example of a potential future CI.

Hi there! We don't release the drop rates of our chance items- but the main draw of Mystery Ticket is that you are guaranteed to get a ticket that lets you work with our artists in some capacity.

Praying Mantis Category
Another Monday, another day to inquire, plead for some praying mantis related items. A pet with a I AM pose would be loved, but even a Mantis themed Strut or March would be met with much claw flailing.
Main Question: Is it possible for me to get the username of the Gaia Artist that snuck in the hidden praying mantis in Dirge's Serenade?
I've never been able to pin down who the artist for that item was, and my mantises would really like to give a special thank you to the artist in question.
My mantises have been waiting so long for mantis related items on Gaia, they had to build a private bathroom next to my laptop.

This REI request has been relayed to the creator of Roseus and Serotina. Whether or not we see it will be up to scheduling, but its something I would love to see happen!

With this month gold shop update you gave items for both bases and it seemed to make a lot of users happy to not get left out. Would it be possible to make this the normal. Not everyone can spend cash for their avatar and making sure new gold shop items for both bases will at least possibly help improve user mood overall if everyone has a non-loyal's gold shop update to look forward to each month.

No. The Gcash amounts reflected are automatically assigned based on how much gold the item is placed for. It's a bit outdated and something we can look at updating in the future.

Was not aware of that but not terribly surprised, large inventories can cause things to act funky sometimes. We'll pass along the request to see if we can do something about it.

I really hope they can make a come back since they tell a lot about the shop NPCs and stuff about them that we don't know, especially for those who doesn't have a lot of information to start with. eg. devin, or natasha, or vanessa.

A Nicolae and Cresento EI isn't something we have planned currently, but we are working on more NPC related sets and REIs in the future.

May I make a suggestion of possibly making REI/EI based on our holiday mascots? Such as Jack, Santa, and Easter Bunny. It could help add a bit more backstory than what we know, such as how did Jack's first halloween work out, how did santa meet mrs.claus and the elves, and how did Easter bunny deal with the trauma from when it happened to where he is now.

There are a lot of things we need to update in regards to the market display and ordering. We don't yet have a formal list yet of everything it should support, but we will certainly add this to our list of possible sort options

Will you consider being more flexible on the gender based items? Most of the rewards from the tired spender give female biased rewards and are useless unless gifted/sold. Same thing with shop, it would help if you would make a male/female section in such case.

Hey there! Almost all of our items can be worn by both genders, so I don't foresee a gender specific tab in our future! However, yes, many of our items are more feminine. This is actually because a large majority of Gaians are female! However, we have been trying to make more unisex items that work for both genders since we want to give our male Gaians love too.

I know for a fact multiple users quoted Princess Angelishia in this thread requesting she make the opening post more clear because a good majority of people were (and still are) requesting more masculine/feminine versions of some items instead of suggesting items that are genderlocked without a single response. This is only the most recent thread where I can think of it happening, but it's not a one time problem by any means.

Please keep in mind though that quoting a staff member is not the appropriate way to actually get their attention so if you have a follow up question or feedback about something, your best bet is filing a ticket if it's appropriate or continuing to post in Site Feedback. Regarding the Tier Rewards, if they become a more permenant thing would it be possible to make them last all month long?
Some of the rewards are very nice but it's a bit unfair to people who do not spend lots of Gaia Cash in a short amount of time. I think it would be better for everyone if there was a warning ahead of time or keeping the tiers last the entire month that way no one is taken by surprise, especially if they had made a GC purchase right before the tier begins.

Have you considered maybe doing one big kickstarter with multiple smaller tiers as well as the higher tiers a month rather then two? Gaian's tend to get burnt out on Kickstarters very easily. I feel one a month with many tiers in a better variety of prices that last over half to all of the month would make them much more effective overall. People who would love to donate but can't would then have plenty of time to get gold.

Insects especially the Monarchs are extremely hard to come by and expensive as all out when they come up for sale.

Question- Since the introduction of the Alchemy Fusion cache to Go Fusion a number of users have been wondering if there are any plans to make GoFusion charms obtainable by some means other than daily chance or through the cash shop.
Perhaps by making an alchemy formula to create GoFusion charms that uses only philosopher's cache components and/or gold shop items. Or by adding star and diamond charms to the philosopher's caches. Is there a possibility of this happening in the future?

With the shops, the current default setting it to show both human and animal items together.
Is there a way that we can have an option to change this default in our account settings?
So that if we have an animal avi we can have a choice to set it to animal and if we have a human avi we set it to human if we wish.
This is to raise awareness to the: Save Our Plot Movement.
This is doable, no current plans to make changes to this at the moment though.

However, you didn't exactly increase the number we get from each game. Also, the amount of fish for Aquarium is a bit underwhelming.

A while back (last year I believe during Christmas) Siskataya made a staff update that showcased an update to the gift system including new boxes and (if I remember correctly) the ability to gift more than one item in a single box. We love taking recolor requests, and will definitely consider those items in particular in the future, especially as part of our gold shop grab bags!

Is it possible to stack items in trades? I was about to buy a whole bunch of Torii's Gate's CI's last night. I didn't, but anyway. When I was about to, I noticed only 12 of those CI's would fit into one trade, and I was going to be buying 100+ of these. I wouldn't have been able to complete all the trades last night had I actually bought them all. I feel like in cases like this it well help to have all the items stacked so the process is quick and easy.

* All the items in the rig are items that were originally Human items, and were then brought across to Paws.
* 1 or 2 Ticket Types
* The First Type would be a "Conversion Ticket". If you get one you can choose 1 item on Gaia to be remade for Paws bases.
* The Second Type would be a rerelease of the Golden Ticket.
It's a simple idea but one that would be fun to see. biggrin

The swing pose is so wonderful, and a natural/nature theme for it would be really nice.
However, even just recolors with shades of blue or green would be really nice to have.

is it possible to pass this onto some of the artists? a lot of female items coming out these days have very thin arms that will make the male base looks like it has t-rex arms, could the artists possibly check on the male base too after the finish making the item? same for mouth and eyes positions, they always looks horrible on the male base.

This is definitely something I can remind our artists! Making sure both sexes look good wearing Gaia items is an important part of the process, as is checking against other base skin tones. Unfortunately, there may not always be a one size fits all, but I will make sure the art team is reminded to check their items moving forward.
