I'm playing Pokemon X and I have a Greninja with Torrent and a Lapras with Water Absorb. I can't decide which one to go with. Which would you pick and why?

Eh, without protean I don't think greninja is that good. Lapras is nice and bulky, and water absorb is nice for getting a free switch in, which is especially nice if you have something that is weak to water.

Both kinda crappy ... but greninja What are good natures for them? i would say modest/timid or adamant/jolly depending weather you wanna go physical or special on greninja. And maybe bold or calm or modest for lapras.

If you're doing in-game, I'd go with a Greninja, regardless of nature.
As for competitive.....Special Gren>Physical Gren.
He just doesn't have the moves to /be/ a decent physical. I mean, basic coverage but those fairies tho.

I voted for Greninja because of his Dark/Water dual type. Also, he can learn Water Pledge which is great for double battles. He is my first starter and Charizard is my second and they both have pledge moves.
