Leon Kusenagi who recently acquired the rank of lieutenant of the first division has decided to issue a challenge to all shinigami in the sereitei who would accept this challenge. With a message placed on several hell butterflies he waits outside of the seireitei near the sokyoku hill. His hair shimmering in the morning sun leon waits zanpaktou in his left hand while his right hangs at his side. He stood at the edge of the cliff while he waited for a challenger or multiple challengers to arrive. The young lieutenant was eager to test his metal against his allies.
The message on the hell butterflies "Attention captains lieutenants and below my name is leon kusenagi the new lieutenant of the first division i send this challenge to all that will heed my call. I want to see the skills and abilities of my new allies first hand in a friendly spar. The location of this challenge is the sokyoku hill. I will not hold back and i do not expect anyone stronger then me to hold back either. I await any response to this call!!"

Can't get ahead of myself _As he tried to read his opponent with his dragon-like eyes, a voice echoed in his ear. Be careful young one. This man is strong and we haven't seen what he can do. Lets see what he can handle. Ryuniaga nods in agreement. Ok here I come Leon. Pushing off with his lead foot he give some well placed swings testing the reflexes of the lieutenant. You always seem to read my mind Doragon. He raises his zanpakuto and it floats in the air. Giving it a light tap it begins to spin clockwise. "SCAR THE HEAVENS! DORAGON KOTEI RYUJIN! Ryunaiga is engulfed in orange & gold reishi. From it a dragon-like polearm spins into his hand. Twirling it around he gets back in a fighting stance, his full dragon eyes are fixed on the lieutenant. The damage would have been worse if he hadn't blocked by spinning his polearm in the direction of the attack. He smiles and quickly closes distance between him and the lieutenant. In an effort to confuse him, Ryunaiga uses his shunpo to move so fast it appears as if there's multiple copies of himself. What's the matter lieutenant? Don't tell me that was your best attack?From the copies He appears above the lieutenant, spinning his polearm viciously. DORAGONFANGU UZU! ╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Currently thinking: This is better than academy training _Using the polearm as a shield, Ryuniaga rapidly spins it to block the beam. He catches his footing and accesses his next move. Doragon echoes in his ear. Be more careful young one. You are fighting a warrior a rank higher than you. Ryuniaga smiles. I know this Doragon. Im getting fired up over this. He uses his shunpo to get behind Kusenagi and performs a Senmaioroshi, then followed by a Hōzan Kenbu. He finishes with a Hitotsume: Nadegiri. This is the most fun he's had in a long time. At first glance Kusenagi seemed to formal and square, but if he could give Ryuniaga like this all the time, he could grow to like the man. Im glad I didn't get drafted into squad 11. I wouldn't have had the chance to fight you.╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Azrael (3rd Seat of squad 13)  As Azrael sits quietly under a tree near the sokyoku hill then he senses a huge explosion. Must be that challenge everyone is talking about..You should head over there and end that foolish game.. Quiet! when do you take over in daytime anyways. Azrael dashes upwards towards the battle until he is right over the battle. He immediately drops down next to the battle. Sorry to interrupt but you seem to be making quite a mess over here Lieutenant.

Using his polearm to deflect the shots and causing a massive explosion, He then is hit in the back by a hot blue fireball. Unphased he turns his head slightly, his back facing Leon. Fire? You used a fire kido how useless do think fire is against a dragon, a fire breathing dragon at that. How pathetic. Doragon can sense Ryuniaga's dragon instincts begin to seep from their slumber and tries to calm him. Ryuniag you must calm yourself. Your adrenaline has awakened your natural basic instincts. Please calm yourself. You'll end up killing someone if you continue. Ryuniaga blinks and shakes his head as he slowly calms down. Yeah....yeah your right Doragon. Suddenly a man appears admits their sparing match and ask if they would end it now. Ugghh no. Its just getting good. Wait your turn.╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
