The Raging Dragon

User Image

The Raging Dragon serves as not only a Restaurant with all sorts of Asian cuisine and a somewhat relaxing air depending on what area you decide to sit in, but also as an Inn, a Dojo....and as the home base of the gang, The Voiceless Ones.

There is a single pathway (that can be seen easily) that leads into, and out of, the central area of the Raging Dragon, along with three other main ones that converge in the center, that leads to the three different buildings on each side. When walking in, the building directly in the front is the restaurant itself, a place anyone can go into without having to get permission...unless of course it's closed down for the day for any particular reason. Usually for when there are major gang meetings that require there to be no outsiders or civilians to be within the building at the time.

To the left is the building that serves as the dojo, and just as the restaurant does, it also has two floors, and contains several rooms for training, and lessons. It offers more than just classes for the traditional sorts of fighting styles and can probably teach you any of the sorts you ask for. However, entrance to the place for simple practice/training requires payment, and if you want to take classes, that requires a weekly or monthly due.

To the right is the Inn, where the upper floor is mostly reserved for any of the gang members who decide to stay at the Raging Dragon rather than go home for however long they wish, or for those who really don't have another home to go to. Anyone from the gang is welcome to stay as long as they want, even if it's forever, and so long as there was no complications that got you kicked out. Of course they won't force you to leave right away. You'll be given time to get your things together and you're always welcome to return for a visit...so long as the reason you were kicked wasn't one that pissed off the gang leader. The bottom floor is open to all but obviously it's going to cost you money to stay there. The maximum amount of time none gang members are permitted to stay is a week, or if it's for a special reason a month is the maximum amount of time, but then you have to leave.

There is a slightly rough path of uneven stone steps between the restaurant and the inn that leads back to a tree enclosed shrine that lies directly behind the restaurant itself. No one really knows exactly what its purpose is, and there really is no explanation that's given when it's asked about, other than that it's a shrine for anyone to offer prayers to any gods they may have. What gods those of the Voiceless may have is a mystery but there probably are some.

In the left corner, also hidden, though this time perhaps in a much better way, lies another path that will take you back to a small, closed off alleyway surrounded by the tall buildings like those of the rest of the city and a tall fence that lines the back of the plot of land the Raging Dragon rests on. The alley is actually pretty clean, almost spotless and is where their source of clean spring water runs in at. Near the very back of the alley, along the tall wall that separates the city from some of the old ruined parts of it, is a small passageway that contains a water fall that cascades down into a trench of sorts that gathers the water, allowing for those in Raging Dragon to come back and draw from it as needed if needed. The passageway is a long winding path that leads into the ruined parts of the city itself, and isn't really known of by many people that aren't of the Voiceless.

Inside a world of broken words, you cannot hide,
You try to find the reasons why, as days collide,
The seconds keep on passing, without a sound,
You turn around, and as you walk away I call to you!

Once he was outside of the room, he had to take a moment to stop and pull himself together a bit. He wasn't sure yet exactly where Lonan was waiting, as he hadn't turned to look around, and so he wasn't sure if he'd catch sight of him before he had a chance to hide just how exhausted and pained he was, but he hoped he wouldn't see. He didn't want to have to explain it to him, or to have him lecture him about it. Though he wasn't so sure the male would do so. It took him a moment but he finally managed to pull himself together, at least a little, and he caught sight of the male through the window in front of him. He seemed to have decided to wait by, or rather, on the motorcycle for him. He blinked, and then smiled slightly at the sight. The male seemed to be happy, or excited for some reason. Perhaps it was because of being on the bike? That and probably because he was going to be able to go and get some clothes of course.

He chuckled and turned to head down the hall, his gaze skimming over the doors of those who were in the Voiceless as he did, unable to help his thoughts drifting to wondering who he might lose next. He quickly pushed those thoughts aside however, and moved to hurry down the steps instead of taking his time. If he stayed up there too long he'd lose himself to painful thoughts and he definitely didn't want that right then. Once he reached the bottom floor, he had to swerve to miss hitting into someone, and he turned and gave a small, embarrassed, apologetic smile before he turned and moved for the door, waving to the person behind the desk before he walked out. With a grin on his face he moved over towards where Lonan waited for him on the bike, a slight laugh escaping him when he got to see how excited he was a bit closer up. Of course he was exhausted, of course he was still hurt, and angry, but he didn't want the other to have to deal with that, and it honestly was a bit cute to see the other like that.

"I see you found the bike alright, and I am guessing you like it? You seem rather excited. Also I'm good to go now, are you ready?" He asked, moving over to the other, and glancing over the thing to make sure it was alright. It was always a risk parking things like that out in the open and leaving it there for a few days unattended, though honestly Rhys did such a good job on security most of the time he probably didn't have to worry. Plus, he wasn't sure how many people would care to steal a purple motorcycle, or a white and pink one. Probably not too many people. Though the purple one would be at more risk. "If you are ready then we'll head to my house to grab a car. Can carry more that way. Sound good to you?" He said, before pausing and turning to look at the other, a smile on his face as he spoke, remembering something.

"Oh but I would like to ask that you don't tell anyone about where I live or about my house, deal? I kinda prefer to keep it a bit of a secret. I'd fear for my home and myself if anyone were to find out about it right now." He said with a small laugh and a wink, bringing a finger up to his own lips as if to say it would be their secret.

After the first couple of minutes he decided to sit on the bike instead of just standing there. It was an interesting bike, and he found it oddly fitting that Craith would own it. He could tell that Keenan liked it as well. Though judging by the clothes he wore he probably liked most things that were brightly colored. Honestly, it was one of the reasons he noticed him in the first place. If he hadn't noticed the clothes he probably never would have possessed him in the first place.

'So, where exactly do you live?' Lonan asked Keenan, figuring it would be best to get the details now, rather than when he would have to tell Craith. It would be easier, and he wouldn't look like he was spacing out as much. Though he probably looked spaced out now to anyone walking by.

'Zlido, in an apartment shared with my brother,' he said, showing him memories of where it was. It was a little odd, but it worked better than trying to give directions in the form of words. 'And I meant it when I said he can't come in. There is security and stuff. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want his face in our systems.'

'Okay. So, he waits outside. Is your brother going to be home? And what do we do if he is? I don't think he will be keen on the idea of us leaving and I have no intention of staying there.' While Lonan would like to eventually meet his brother, he didn't want to get confined to his apartment and if he was anything like Keenan that would be the most likely outcome of that particular encounter. Not that he couldn't escape, he just didn't want to deal with it. He was starting to get tired after being awake for two weeks. Normally, he went to sleep every few days, which wasn't the best for the host body, but he just couldn't sleep like humans.

'I honestly don't know if he will be or not, but we are going to go straight into my room anyway. We can lock the door. I highly doubt he will be in there.' Keenan was a little hesitant in his response. Lonan wasn't sure how he was feeling as his emotions were all over the place and mostly hidden at the moment.

'Okay,' he responded. 'I'm amazed you are being this cooperative. I figured I was going to have to argue for very piece of info. I know you said we would go, but I figured you'd still be difficult about it. Not that I want you to or anything. Just saying.' He was mostly hoping Keenan would give him an explanation without him having to directly ask. He didn't want to push and accidentally cause him to change his mind. Though bring it up in general could have done that. Not that he could take it back now. He just hoped that Keenan wouldn't get upset again. He didn't want a repeat experience, especially not while he was tired or in the same day.

'I figured its either give you to info and help you do this to avoid unnecessary issues. Like you getting into a fight with Kieran or getting lost and running into someone I know. It's just easier to deal with this now. Plus I get the feeling that you would just try to invade my memories if I kept resisting and I'd rather you don't,' he responded after a while and then went quiet.

Lonan shrugged in response. He wasn't wrong on the memory part. If he needed to he would do it. Though the few times he has tried Keenan has resisted surprisingly well. He didn't even think about running into other people he knew on this trip. That was one of the reasons he left to another town so quickly. He'd had unfortunate experiences where friends and family of his hosts would try to lock him up. He didn't blame them for it though. It was still annoying.

After a moment or two his mind drifted to the trip and what exactly he wanted to get from Keenan's apartment. He was definitely wanted to grab clothes. Maybe a few of Keenan's possessions. Any computers or electronics he would take, even if it was just for Keenan's benefit. He was getting excited all over again. It was going to be so fun, if not a little tense with the possibility of Kieran being there.

He was pulled out of his thoughts, by Craith voice. He was out of it and didn't notice the man had come out of the building. He was glad to see him smiling, though he guessed he was still not one hundred percent over what happened earlier. "Of course I'm excited and the bike is nice. Keenan likes it too," he said smiling. "Yes I'm ready. It's not like I have to grab anything." He couldn't help but smile when Craith winked at him. He remembered that Craith said something about going to his house before too. That would be an interesting sight. Especially, if he was so determined to keep it a secret. "Don't worry. I would never do anything you didn't want me to do," he said winking. He stood up from where he had been sitting/leaning on the bike and straddled it, sliding back into the second seat. He leaned back and patted the seat in front of him. "Come on. While I may not have any plans tonight, I would rather not spend in it all traveling," he said, smirking. "After all there are so many others things we could do."

Okay so perhaps the way he had said that was a bit on the flirty side, even though he hadn't necessarily meant it to be. Too late to take that back now though. Besides, he wasn't sure he cared right then, as he watched the other look up with a smile. Keenan huh? He supposed that was probably the name of the person who originally owned the body before Lonan had taken over. At least he knew his name now, though knowing actually made him a bit more curious about the other, and he found it amusing that the two seemed to like the motorcycle, and it made him wonder if they'd ever been on one before.

"Heh, well I'm glad the two of you seem to like it, though the clothes you're wearing should have told me at least one of you might. Have either of you ever been on one before?" He asked, his gaze falling to the bike, hand coming up to one of the handlebars, and then after a moment of consideration, he smiled slightly and looked over to Lonan again. "Oh and hello there Keenan, since I'm sure you're there listening in. I'm sorry for being so rude as to not greet you as well." He said chuckling, wondering how he'd respond to his saying hello to him, though he didn't think he'd get to see the response, as Lonan was the one in control. Speaking of Lonan though... The smile he suddenly offered made Craith give pause, his focus locking on him instead of moving to the Dragon. He'd been about to take a quick look around the area to see if anyone was watching them, but his plans had been interrupted by both the look on the males face, and his words.

Seemed like he once again had gotten himself into some form of trouble...no it didn't just seem that way, he was sure he had. He was too tired for this, how was he expected to handle what was being suggested? He couldn't. Not in the way he'd prefer to anyways, which was to take a step back and think about everything he'd done that day that he probably usually wouldn't have, and to use that to convince himself to keep himself in check. Instead, when the other winked, and moved from his spot to slip onto the motorcycle, straddling the seat of the bike before sliding back, he couldn't help but follow his every move with his gaze. When he leaned back and patted the seat in front of him, smirking, Craith had to close his eyes and force himself to look away for a moment. His instincts were going to kill him some day he was sure of it. At his words he couldn't help the airy laugh that escaped him, and he shook his head a bit, as if to tell himself to stop, though that obviously didn't help him. Slowly, he opened his eyes, and slid his gaze to Lonan. There seemed to be a soft glow emanating from them as he made sure to meet the others steadily.

"Oh? I do wonder what you might mean by that dear Raven. I mean, there are quite a few possibilities.." He started with a slow grin, as he moved over so that he was standing next to the male, and the bike itself."I have to admit that I am a bit curious...Although that can wait until later. As you said, we do have a possibly long trip ahead of us..and if you don't want to spend all of your time on that, then we should probably get going. Yes?" He said, voice low, quiet, before he slid onto the motorcycle himself, bringing the keys up and putting them in the ignition, twisting them to start it up, before he leaned back a bit, twisting around to look at the other, grinning as he reached back to take his hands, pulling them forwards to wrap the males arms around his waist.

"Now, do be sure to hang on tight. Wouldn't want to lose you along the way now would we?" He said with a low chuckle, before he turned, and after kicking the stand back, and revving the engine once, tore out of the parking lot of the dragon, both glad to be getting moving, and hating himself in a way at the same time. Yes he could get flirty at times, but something strange had definitely gotten into him today. Maybe it was all the stress, and the exhaustion...and..Lonan. Honestly...he wasn't sure he could have avoided a situation with the other if he'd wanted to. Not after what had happened earlier. Not to mention his instincts seemed to be pushing him to do some crazy things as of late, and with how tired he was. He was obviously having trouble fighting them off. Oh well. He'd dug himself this hole, might as well lay in it now as well.

"I have before, but he hasn't," he said in response. One of his eyebrows raised in response to Craith's next statement. He opened his mouth to tell him that Keenan wasn't actually paying at the moment, when Keenan started mildly freaking out again.

'What? You told him my name? What is wrong with you?' Keenan was not pleased, but he wasn't screaming like he was before, which was an improvement. Though he was obviously upset and slightly distressed, not to mention a little pissed at Lonan.

'It's not like he wouldn't have figured it out eventually. I mean, can't he look that s**t up from knowing where you live anyway,' he responded. Honestly, he didn't see what the big deal was. He needed something to call the other by, and as far as he knew Keenan didn't have any nicknames and he didn't feel like giving him one.

Keenan didn't respond further, instead just sinking back into the depths of his mind where Lonan couldn't reach him. He had tried once, but it was like swimming to the bottom of the ocean. The deeper in he got the more pressure he felt and at one point he had felt like he was drowning. It was a new sensation that's for sure. Through everyone's mind was a little different. Some peoples mind's were like houses, everything hidden behind doors and others were like a cluttered room.

Lonan realized he had probably spaced out for a minute or so. He gave Craith a smile. "Sorry about that. He was caught off guard and I don't think he's too pleased with me telling people his name. He's paranoid." Keenan probably wouldn't appreciate him telling Craith about his reactions or his paranoia. Which Keenan could try to deny he had, but it was becoming pretty obvious that he was a least a little bit paranoid.

The sudden closeness of the other kept him from drifting off again. He had to crane his neck a bit to look up at him, but he was was okay with a little discomfort if he got to see that expression on his face. "Of course," he said, looking at him through his lashes and smirking. He watched him climb onto the bike and let him place his hands around his waist. He made sure to hold on. "No we wouldn't." Leaning forward he whispered into his ear, "And I hope our conversation later is worth the wait." He adjusted his grip around his waist and may or may not have felt him up while he was at. With that they were on there way and Lonan couldn't wait to see what type of house he lived in that had to be kept secret.
