According to Serebii, an interview at USGamer has confirmed that trainer customization will not be making a return in ORAS. This news makes me a sad trainer

And honestly, I don't know why. They wouldn't have had to even make anything new; they already had a working system for trainer customization, they already had a bunch of clothes and whatnot. They just had to import it.
Maybe it was cut for space?

i don't know why they decided that either... i really loved the ability to choose what i wore, even if the trainer had to look a certain way with hair and eyes, etc.
I feel like the "fashionable" point system was utter bs though. I mean it wasn't hard for me to become 'fashionable' at all, but you shouldn't have to be to unlock new clothing and items.
i will miss choosing my own hairstyle and eye color most.

The removal of trainer customization is just another example of game freak's time honored tradition of introducing a feature that fans love only to snatch it away in the next game. They gave an excuse, but it was so weak that it didn't even make its way into my long term memory.

Well it's too late for a protest people. You just gotta deal with it. They did bring back alot of stuff I loved for the remakes. I even am happy they're finally doing something with Fly, making it way better than in any game so far. I even missed the Pokemon contests and especially missed the Secret Bases. Those were awesome and Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum did a crappy job with that system. Now yes character customization was great but with all that they are already doing just maybe they did have to take it out because of the limits of a handheld system. Now I even doubt that but still even without the ability to customize your character the upcoming remakes will be good, you must admit that.
