This is one of my favorite times of year. Being close to Halloween you can watch new and old Horror movies on TV and in the theaters. Their are also a lot of video games and Anime / Manga horror series that come to mind At conventions I look for people that dress up in their favorite horror series cosplay outfits.

I'm curious, what is your favorite Horror Movie, TV series, Anime series, and video game is.

Mine are the following:

Favorite Horror movie - Nightmare on Elm Street
Favorite TV Series - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Favorite Anime Series - Blood +, Soul Eater, Attack on Titan, Claymore
Favorite Video Game Series - Resident Evil

I agree that Soul Eater is not a true Horror Anime series in the blood, guts, gore, and try to scare you to death category. I Love everything Horror based and Soul Eater to me has characters in it that represent some of the classic horror movie characters that I like including Frankenstein and the Grim Reaper. Also to me Soul Eater is a cute, funny, and thought provoking show. At the end of the series it made me think about what fear and bravery are truly about. Both of these concepts are in a lot of Horror series and movies. The moment that I saw the characters and storyline I fell in Love with the series. I also Love everything that is related to Halloween and Soul Eater does a great job with that.

I like the 1st Silent Hill movie a lot to. I have taken cosplay photos of both Soul Eater cosplayers and even a Silent Hill movie character (Pyramid Head).

True, I guess that would make a lot of sense (kind of makes Soul Eater like the "soft" version of horror in the spectrum of extremes). Which I say.....I agree, that could work.
I never got to watch the second movie, actually, even though I know they tried to incorporate some characters from the series. How was it? (no spoilers in case I do manage to watch it).

The second Silent Hill movie was good and worth watching. Btw, I own all of the Resident Evil movies, including the CGI ones. Since you like Silent Hill, try watching a movie called "13 Ghosts". It might be hard to find but it's a really good horror movie.

Ok then, I'll give it a shot. I have all of the movies as well! Obviously, all the ones that were released, and I can't wait to see what the last movie (since I'm pretty sure it's going to be).
If that's the one with the house that has a maze in the basement made out of glass doors and the creepy ghost called the "juggernaut".....then yes......I watched it as a kid.......it scared me so bad that the very first time I played RE5 I remembered that thing........*shivers*. After a few more plays I got over that xd (monster in question is the executioner).

Yes, 13 Ghosts was the movie that had the basement with all of the glass doors and maze in it. The 13 Ghosts brought together created a powerful evil source of power. They were considered to be a collection of evil Zodiac beings.
