Kusari saw the bombs materialize and her rush him and he did the only thing he could think of, he tried to keep his distance and threw his nunchaku directly at the bombs she was holding right before diving for cover, hoping to either make her drop them, or set them off and damage her instead.

The flung nunchuck struck her hand and caused her to drop her payload of bombs. She hissed and watched to see the explosive mayhem unleashed by the devices.

He was mostly out of the blast radius, but all it took in his fatigued state was a stray rock to bean him and it was lights out.
