 Aeron felt that he had done very little in this battle, and he was feeling useless. He wanted to help beat the cursed back, but also felt that perhaps a bit of battle was good for him; the clarity of the fight helped settle his own uneasy soul. He was currently looking for someone to battle when he saw the large shadowy figure, which almost seemed to beckon him with the promise of a glorious win, or a crushing defeat. Pulling out his scythe, he figured there was only one way to find out, and emerging from the shadows, he swung his weapon at the cursed in a vertical motion, hoping to take it by surprise. HP: 20

 Sabia hadn't seen action in a while, but it didn't mean she was getting complacent. She heard movement and turned, gaining a slice up her side, but it could have been worse. Hissing at the pockettu who attacked her she sneered. "Wanting a beatdown, are we?" before trying to impale him with her clawed hand. HP: 23

Far too late, Aeron realized that the cursed he had picked a fight with was a corrupted, and his heart momentarily failed within him. He would need a miracle to win this fight. As if in emphasis, the claws came in and drove themselves deep inside of him, feeling as though they were poking themselves into his very life force. Gritting his teeth against the pain, he tried to bring his scythe down upon the clawed arm, trying to make it withdraw it's searing touch. HP: 16

Sabia saw him realize his mistake and grinned beneath her mask, even as the scythe cut her arm deeply. She pulled the claws back and at the same time reached out her other hand to smack him upside the head. HP: 20

Aeron blinked rapidly as his head was jerked forward from the smack, his head smarting, but his pride smarting even more. It felt as though he was a child doing wrong, that he was just given the equivalent of a paddle rather than an honest battle blow. He felt anger boil within him and used it to fuel his arms as he swung the scythe hard in a horizontal sweep, seeking to open up the other like a party favor. HP: 14

Sabia darted back quickly with the speed of a viper to get naught but a nick from the scythe, before darting back in, trying to wrap her clawed hand around his neck and haul him up in the air if successful, squeezing hard. HP: 19

Aeron scowled in frustration as his swinging scythe barely did anything, but before he could think of something else, he found himself hoisted high and the hand around his neck beginning to squeeze. In a panic, he reached out and grabbed his scythe by the blade and tried to make a sawing motion on the arm attached to the squeezing hand. HP: 12

Sabia used her other hand to try to keep that blade from sawing her too much, though it bites in some. She growls at him and squeezes harder, aiming a headbutt with her masked face. HP: 17

The headbutt caused Aeron to see stars, and he all but dropped his scythe as he felt his breath refusing to be replenished. Now even more desperately, he tried to swing his lower body upwards enough to aim a kick at the arm holding him, trying to do all he can to make it let go. HP: 9

He manages to land a solid kick on her funny bone, making her drop him immediately as she hisses in pain, jerking her arm back. Instead, she darts back in to try and wrap her snakelike body around him and squeeze the air out of him that way instead. HP: 13

Aeron found himself falling, but the landing came hard as he felt that too much had been squeezed out of him. Struggling to rise, he found himself in the coils of the monster, his arms quickly pinned to his sides before he could raise his scythe up. Grasping at whatever he could, he closed his eyes and lunged forward, trying to bite the tightening coils. HP: 5

Sabia grinned as she got him in her coils. The bite was nothing worrisome to her and she tried to tighten her grip as she balls up her more normal hand, aiming to sock him in the face to knock him silly and keep him from resisting. HP: 11

Aeron barely had time to see if his biting was doing any good when the knock to the face jerked his head back and away from the coils as they squeezed harder and harder. He could feel ribs cracking and breaking, his world was turning Hellish shades of red and black. The only thing he could do was grope around with his fingers as they pressed painfully against him, trying to position his scythe so that it might possibly cut into the creature as it gave its final squeeze; not enough to save him, but at least he might give the creature something to remember him by. HP: 1

If she felt anything from the scythe she wasn't giving any indication of it as she chuckled at his predicament, enjoying crushing him as if he were naught but a bug. "Time to sleep, little death follower," she says as she indeed does squeeze harder, adding her hands to wrap around his throat to make him pass out, and well, cause as much damage as possible in the process. HP: 10
