Mien excitedly looked at the board. "How about this one? It's a search and rescue. We have to find a litter of missing eevee cubs. Their parents an Sylveon and Flareon have been looking for them for two days. It's a litter of six." Espie said calmly to the group. the girls wanted to do it to help out finding the babies.

Scotty examined the request a moment, then shrugged cheerfully, looking over at Luke and Nibbles. "Sure, why not? Any objections, fellas?""I have no objections to the mission," Luke confirmed. "Rescue!" Nibbles cheered, hopping up and down like the little nutjob he was. "All right! Onward, into... er..." Scotty turned back to the girls, the albino Elgyem looking rather adorably confused. "Where we going again?"

"It says we're going to Shady Woods." Mien happily informed the others as her team walked away. The other two were planning on what needs to be prepared.

"Right! To Shady Forest!" Scotty cheered, starting to head in the general direction of that particular area. Naturally, Nibbles followed. Luke rolled his eyes and grabbed the two by the arms before they could get too far. "Perhaps we should pack in preparation for the mission first?" he suggested pointedly. Scotty looked rather sheepish at that. "Er... right! I knew that!"

"No you didn't and the place is Shady Woods not Forest." Pinch said to Scotty as her group was finishing up stocking. Mein was happily munching on an apple as she tied a purple ribbon to her neck. Espie was looking at a map.

"Meh, Forest, Woods, what's the difference?" Scotty replied dismissively. "...And yes I did." With that, he finished up stocking himself (he'd actually done surprisingly well) before heading over to Espie and pulling out his own map of the Woods to help her plan. "Hmm... if we search the place like so in this pattern, we should be able to complete the search in the optimal amount of time," he noted, making the relevant hand... -arm... -thing motions. "Of course, we could search in this pattern, but doing so would necessitate splitting up, thus creating a higher level of risk should we end up in a combat situation. " Surprisingly, his suggestions were actually quite intelligent. Meanwhile, Nibbles and Luke did a little packing themselves before joining the others, the Gible gnawing on an apple of his own.

"That sounds logical but we will have to take in the fact that the cubs can be found through scent. We can also ask their parents if they have any special coloring to their fur." Espie said quietly writing down notes.

"I don't know about you, but Team Misfits doesn't have a scent tracker. Closest thing we've got is Luke's Aura-sensing ability, but since he's still a Riolu it's pretty short-ranged. On top of that, we've never met these cubs, so he wouldn't know what to look for." Scotty noted. "Contacting their parents does sound like a good idea, though; while we're at it, maybe we could check what portion of the woods the cubs got lost in to narrow down the search area."Luke watched the two Psychic-types plan, not seeing anywhere he could interject. It always amazed him how quickly Scotty could switch between insane idiot and calculating strategist - sometimes he had to wonder how the Elgyem didn't get whiplash from the repeated shifts in personality.

"that is true but I'm sure we can get one of the parents to help." Espie said writing down some of their plans. Mein happily walked to luke, "You don't need to get anything?" She asked cheerfully.

Luke shook his head, answering, "Sensei taught me how to live off the land, and since I'm the team scout and stealth specialist, I do better without the extra weight." ...Though admittedly, when compared to the two loud idiots he traveled with, pretty much any Pokémon short of a Loudred was a stealth specialist. Scotty nodded. "True, but keep in mind that unless they've got battle experience, we'll probably end up having to protect them from hostile Pokémon," he pointed out reasonably. It wasn't that he wasn't confident in his team's skills (he was well aware of how badass they were), or that he doubted Espie's team, but if they brought the clients along, all it would take would be a single slip-up on their part for the clients to get hurt, and no one wanted that.

"Yes but they are going to ask to come anyways so we have to plan around that happening too." Espie said pointing out that fact. Mien nodded before thinking, "But shouldn't you have basic things?" She asked waving the first aid at him.

"Well, to be fair, Scotty packs enough medical supplies for an army, so there's no danger of shortage there; probably a good thing, considering the insanity he and Nibbles tend to try on an hourly basis," Luke noted. Yes, he said hourly, and no, it was not a misspeak or a typo. "...Meh, fair enough," Scotty allowed. "Mind you, if it they keep getting knocked out due to hostiles, I will Teleport them back to town and duct-tape them to a tree. They won't do their kids any good unconscious, and I doubt the cubs want to see their parents bruised and beaten from repeated Pokémon attacks."

"The only upside to that is that you have so much medical supplies that they will be ok." Espie said. Mien nodded to the Riolu before finishing her packing. "You guys ready?" Pinch asked impatiently.

Luke frowned slightly at the Trapinch. "No need to get impatient; I'm sure "True, but I've still only got so many bandages, so I'll still bring out the duct tape if they end up slowing us down too much. Anyway, we ready to head out? Because I think the she-minion with the huge mouth is gettin' impatient," Scotty noted cheerfully, rolling up his own map and putting it... somewhere. "Adventure!" Nibbles cheered, his own way of confirming that, yes, he was ready... or maybe he just liked shouting "adventure". Honestly, it was about fifty-fifty.
