They had been doing good lately! Not being as startled or panicked by small things and certainly not sleeping lightly in fear of the whers coming to get them. Oh no, they had managed to overcome those night terrors. It hadn't been easy and whers still scared the shells out of both rider and dragon. But... things were better. Especially since they had come to Trine Weyr. Though it was a bit crowded and Az'rin was not a huge fan of crowds.
Mine, we should... find something to eat? Qizixth said bashfully, always a little ashamed for his fondness of food.
Rin just smiled, patting his dragons snout. "Maybe in a little bit, Qiz. You need to work off your first meal!"
Oh alright. The blue said a little pitifully, but he obliged his rider by helping to get riding straps on. And when they were secured and in place, the pair gathered up a few things and took flight. I-I think the lake should be... less crowded right now. Qizixth said thoughtfully.
Let's go there and give you a good scrub! Rin said with a smile, holding on to the large blue as he brought them to the lake. Which started the process of the big blue diving in and enjoying a swim while the chunky young man rolled up his pant legs and pushed up his sleeves. There! He was ready to wash Qizixth! And Qiz had been right. There was hardly anyone gathered at the lake currently. "Whenever you're finished, Qiz!"

Mazamath had just had a good swim and scrub of his own, and had sprawled himself out on the warm shore to dry, his striped wings spread to catch the sun he basked in. They had happened upon a quiet time of day, it seemed, with only a handful of others in the vicinity. This, to the blue's rider, was was a bit of a disappointment; as far as Adi was concerned, the more people that were around, the better! Still, quiet time wasn't a bad thing, as their job as Couriers did have a way of keeping them busy, but that wasn't a bad thing, either. It hardly even felt like work! Not to you, Maz quipped cheerfully. I'm the one who does all the heavy lifting!Oh, hush. You know you like it!The blue gave a quick, pleasant thrum and closed his eyes. He did enjoy it, but he also very much enjoyed lazing about. Their errands - or as his rider liked to think of them, adventures - did cut in on other things he was fond of. There was significantly less time for flower-picking, or for Adi's attempts to learn more about Farmcraft. She had always been quite fascinated with it, and with Trine exploring their own farming efforts, it seemed like an opportune time to indulge that fascination. From where she lounged in the shallows, thinking about this and that and the other thing, she noticed the arrival of another dragon and its rider. Was that a...blue, or a giant green? It had to be a blue. ...wait. She'd thought that about a dragon before, she was sure. Sort of sure. Maybe. Alright, she couldn't resist. Adi stood, adjusted her wet sarong and touched the flower behind her ear, and went to say hello. "Hi!" she chirped as she approached.

Qizixth was taking his time enjoying the water, his nose the only part sticking out above the surface. He gave the impression of smiling as Az'rin continued to wait, looking around with that uneasiness that never seemed to leave him when around people. It's okay, Rinmine. I will be over in just a second. The large blue crooned, though it came up as bubbles.
"I-It's okay, Qiz." He said with a smile. And nearly jumped out of his skin when someone said hi. The chunky boy flailed and just about went down in the water himself. Flushing scarlet, he turned to peek behind him... and saw a girl. OhFaranth.
"Uh... h-hi... " He barely managed to not squeak out. Where had she come from?!
Lifting his head above the water, Qizixth spotted the new arrival and gave a happy trill. Oh! Who is this? He inquired, moving closer.

"Hi!" she repeated, still rather cheerful but a bit toned-down by faint guilt on account of the fact that she'd obviously surprised him. It was cute, actually, the faliling and the blushing, and he was pretty cute, too. A little short, a little chunky, and all kinds of adorable. "I'm sorry if I startled you! I wasn't trying to sneak up or anything, really, I promise, I was just over there with Maz, and we noticed you guys and I just wanted to say hi. So hi! I'm Adi! Oh, and that's Maz, obviously." She tipped her head in her blue's direction. "Mazamath, really, but you can just call him Maz. I do!" "Anyway. Um. Hi." The number of times she'd said 'hi' in the last minute dawned on her, and Adi blushed a little herself as she offered her hand. Hello, Mazamath sent simply to his fellow blue, patient amusement coloring his tone.

"H-Hi... " He managed to breathe out without too much of a stutter. Az'rin just stared at the girl, not sure who she was or why she'd suddenly decided to talk to him. Of course, anyone choosing to talk to him was a surprise. Pleasant, but a little intimidating too.
Everything is intimidating. Qizixth added with a little chuckle.
"O-Oh!" He blushed a brilliant red at that. Of course she had noticed! Who wouldn't have noticed how she'd startled him?! "It's... It's okay. I just... um, I'm n-not used to.... people here yet." Adi? That was pretty. "I'm Az'rin. O-Or just Az. Or Rin... " He glanced over at the other blue, a small smile forming. So she was another bluerider?! "H-Hello, Maz! This is Qizixth. I just c-call him Qiz usually."
Hello! Qizixth chirped at the other blue, twisting around to look at him.
