Other things to note: Ra'fe holds himself military straight, has an angular jaw, side wise cheekbones, and a rather strong aquiline hawk nose.

Personality: At the heart of the matter, Ra'fe is a soldier. There is a deep core of strength, loyalty, and courage surrounded by a blunt, no nonsense surface. Those that break loyalty, will find him to be a prickly, paranoid, and very willing to keep a grudge. He holds those who go into an craft, masters especially in high self-esteem. He also has struggled since his impression to withhold his families motto of earning a place through hard work and merit. With Banneth hide color, he found himself not place because of his own worth or even Ban's but simply because of his gender and Banneth's hide color and unable to change it.

Since Evmeth's flight and Sereth intruption caused the break between him and Benden's time riders, Ra'fe has started to remodel himself to who he wants to be. Not what Benden expected him to be.

Ra'fe weapons are all crafted from the same master swordsmith and are a matching set.

Wind's breath is classified as a short sword, with a 28 inch blade. It is certainly a exquisitely crafted if simply stated sword. The pommel has a two rectangular pieces of dark purple sugilite as it's sole decoration and the grip is wrapped in shagreen leather.The crossguard is plain and smooth.

Ban's Tooth is a dagger. Crafted to match Wind's breath, it has circular pieces of sugilite in it's pommel and wrapped in shagreen leather.

East and West are concealable knives meant to be hidden in his boot or in a sleeve. The handles have small chips of sugilite.

Serpent's fang - with a grip made of arctic tunnelsnake fang, this 30'' inch blade was wielded by Ra'fe's father into many battles. Like Wind's breath, the pommel is created from rare minerals, in this case a oval red beryl. Ra'fe would have inherited at his father's death, but the sudden awaken to the future bit has interrupted the lineage.

Ra'fe wants this blade, shard it.
