Mine isn't but, I've seen some great cosplay avatars!

My current and default avatar is not a cosplay. But I do do cosplay avatars. My best so far is a Superman, Princess Tutu, and Andy Bogard cosplay (although Andy hasn't got a shirt). I'm also currently working on a Vegetto cosplay, but am having trouble matching colors between pants and shirts.

My avi is usually wearing a cosplay outfit similar to one that I have in real life. The current one that he is wearing is an outfit similar to what Harry Potter wears. In real life I have a Celtic Cleric cosplay outfit which I now added a wand to and my avi has a wand in his hand as well. The crystals around him is something that I collect in real life as well.
My main avi is usually dressed up as Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles: Collected Memories. The drawing in my signature is of Princess Sakura from the same series. Every once in a while my avi is joined by a Madoka companion Cosplayer. She is one of my favorite cosplay characters to take photos of in real life so I was happy to be able to add her to my collection of items on Gaia Online.

I don't usually do cosplay avatars. I'm a HUGE stickler for accuracy and it bothers me way more than it should when Gaia items just don't fit perfectly. Sure, the hair can be close... but it's still not the right hair. Yes, that belt is only a small part of the outfit, no one will notice if I don't have it, but I will notice.... So, yeah. No cosplay for me.
I have a dream avi that is heavily inspired by Persona 3 and 4, kind of like my own little oc for the franchise. I like doing original characters more since it gives me more freedom.
