The wraith glided out from the shadows across from Morrigans room. The figure did not move, speak, or make any noise of any kind. He simply stood in the still silence, waiting for Gypsy to return. In the mean time he was deciding, if the demon should live past this day. Then again this demon could be of some use, for now at least. It didn't matter what use the demon was, in the long run Kael 's soul was his.

Gypsy considered everything on the way back to Morrigan's rooms, part of her wondering what Kael was up to now. Contracts were his bread and butter so getting him to let her out of hers was going to take some pretty good verbal tap-dancing... She didn't notice the figure waiting across from the door as she moved to open it and told Morrigan she was going to get them some food then return to finish the lesson. She also asked Morrigan to work on moving around the rooms without the use of her eyes, wanting her to re-learn how to rely on her other senses as well. That done, she closed the door and turned to head to the dining area. Food she could handle and would put off her blood needs for a little bit. But she would need a feed before heading to see Kael. She just didn't know how to arrange that here. It was a bit of a problem....

Morrigan Morrigan listened to Gypsy's instructions and took a deep breath as she left. While Gypsy was gone, Morrigan learned every single inch of her room. At first, she moved slowly around, trying to get used to finding her way without sight. She eventually figured out the exact layout of the room and started to move around quickly. She continued to practice for a while and eventually sat down on the bed. She breathed calmly and evenly, keeping her senses open for any changes.

Gypsy returned to the room with a meal for Morrigan but waited just inside the door at first. She needed to see what the girl had learned so far. Admittedly, she was a bit worried about what would happen between Jaeger and Kael, but the negotiations were out of her hands at this point. Whatever happened next was up to them and she'd know soon enough. But she had to focus on her job right now. And that would consist of making sure that Morrigan could protect herself in any situation through a crash course of self-defense. After a moment, she moved into the room further and set the tray on the floor to one side then moved back to the doorway and left the room. She wanted to see if Morrigan would use her senses to find the tray. She was deliberately leaving the girl alone for now, needing her to learn how to be more than self-sufficient. But she wouldn't explain any of these lessons until much later. ((Exit))

Gypsy stepped into the room to see Morrigan meditating and gave a simple nod. She moved into her room that doubled as a training room and collected a few things then moved back into Morrigan's bedroom where she knelt in front of her for a silent moment. The girl was still blindfolded inside the room, only taking it off when she had to leave. They'd done quite a bit of training in here and Gypsy felt that the girl was almost finished with the training she'd asked for. She set a note in front of the girl, knowing she'd find it when she was finished meditating. It was simple enough: Family issue to resolve. Will return when finished. Next exercise: Have guards bring in one or two captives from prison, releasing them when you're meditating or otherwise busy. Kill them or free them, I don't care. Judge them accordingly. But keep them within the rooms for two full days or more before deciding. Defend yourself as needed but use powers only as a last resort. Use your instincts as you were meant to.
Gypsy She looked at the girl for another moment then made the decision to leave just as silently as she'd entered. This would be Morrigan's 'graduation' test. She'd assess it when she returned. But it was time to test her survival instincts. With Gypsy not here to save her, her survival would be in her own hands. She closed the door behind her and considered her first move, where she would have to go first to find the boy. She finally decided on the Dark Woods, knowing that it was a good place to test long term survival and get a good thrill or two thanks to all the strange and dangerous creatures living there. ((Entrance and exit made.))

Morrigan Morrigan finished with what Gypsy wanted her to do for her final test with no issue. She had managed to do it without using her powers at all. As she got up, she removed the blindfold and debated what to do with the prisoners. She finally decided to release one and sent the other back to the prison. She left the room and headed to the dining area to get something to eat. [Exit]

Gypsy hauled Morrigan into the rooms and closed the door behind them then pulled her into the training room before letting her go. She stared at her for a long moment then gave her a few facts she likely wouldn't want to know after this. "My father was an Incubus in Hell's Cradle. That's the place where the demons live, in case you didn't know. Down there, all females are property. Every last one. Even a wife is property and can be sold to another male. That is what I grew up knowing about. That was my life. To get any training in weapons, I had to sneak around for it. If anyone held any interest in me, it was never shown to me or spoken of to me. They went directly to my father for that. "After that, I was a mercenary. They're a very obvious lot. If they want to get laid, they say exactly that to the person they wish to do so with. That is as far as my education in that part of life went. "My practical sexual knowledge is much better than my theoretical knowledge of courting. My father saw to it that I had the best instructors for the former and sold my virginity to the highest bidder as soon as I was old enough. Then he sold me to Kael via marriage contract. That's it, Morrigan. That's the extent of my knowledge in that sphere. "It wasn't until after you freed me that I met my grandfather, my last living relative. He was my mother's father, who I knew nothing of beyond that she was a vampire. He freed me of Kael in that first week that I knew you. "Now he's gone and I've managed to seal off almost all of my emotions. I can't survive the loss of my entire family without doing so. I am sorry if I've lead you on in any way, Morrigan. I appreciate the friendship we've developed more than you can know, but I have nothing else to offer you. Not right now. "Yes, I'm oblivious to the more subtle stuff in romance and all of that crap. But that's not going to change, that's not who I am. I cannot control any of that. All I can do is maintain my sanity and do what I know how to do: my job. But I am truly sorry that I cannot give you anything more..." she told her in one long moment. It was probably the most she'd spoken at one time in her entire life. But she gave Morrigan more honesty than she'd given even to Kael, and he'd been her husband. But, in light of all of that information, Gypsy's new look and new un-emotional demeanor was fully explained...

Morrigan "And that's why I didn't want to say anything," Morrigan said, noticing a few items floating and then dropping them. "What was the point of saying anything when I knew that it would lead to this conversation?" She sat down on the floor and took a deep breath. "You may not know it, but I decided to find out more about you while you were away. It wasn"t easy, but I managed to find out about your past. I took the time to really learn about you." She growled a bit in frustration and used her telekinesis to slam something against the wall. "I understand losing family. I've been there. My entire family is gone. My parents and my twin sister are all gone. Do you understand what it feels like to lose someone who has always been half of you? Someone like a twin?" She shook her head and sent the object into the wall again, hitting so hard that the object actually got stuck in the wall. "Enough of this. I don't feel like talking anymore."

Gypsy listened to her, not flinching at all during the tantrum. She also ignored the questions about loss, knowing that nothing she said would help. Instead, she waited a moment in silence then headed for the door, "Come on. Braid your hair down on the way," was all she said, her voice oddly calm. She knew something thanks to Shade and his connections to the Sandmen but knew she wouldn't be able to reveal what she knew until Morrigan was calm again. What the results would be of her revelation, she had no idea. But it would have to be done. But later, when Morrigan had exhausted herself...

Lily Lily led Ren into Morrigan's room and let go of ger hand. She caught Morrigan and Gypsy's scents, but both were pretty weak, indicating that they hadn't been there for some time. She frowned and looked around a bit, not liking that the room seemed to be abandoned. "Based on the layers of dust on everything and the fact that her scent is so weak, I'd say that she hasn't been here for quite some time," she stated. "So what does this mean? Where could she be?'

Lily Lily thought about Ren's question. "I haven't seen her in a while," she said. "I was stuck as my younger self for a while, so I didn't really know her. Plus, she was spending time with that slave she freed from the Pillow Room. She seemed interested in her, and I think they had some sort of arrangement going on where she was Morrigan's bodyguard. I think the woman's name was Gypsy, if I recall correctly. You think there could be some sort of connection?" While she was talking, she was thinking of plans. She remembered that Morrigan had once used some sort of rune to teleport Lily to her. Perhaps she could reverse that rune and summon Morrigan instead.
