Yes, this is fairly obviously based off the thread in the GCD right now, discussing how awesome (but likely too expensive) it would be to have a Gaia balloon in the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
But if we can't bring Gaia to parade, maybe we could bring the parade to Gaia? Like maybe as a big event for Gaia's next anniversary, or something else huge worth celebration? A digital Gaia parade, with balloons of Gaia's different mascots and themed floats and everything!
Specifically, I'm thinking that during the lead-up to the actual "parade", there could be an art contest to have users design parade floats. Like, remember during the Zurg event, there was an art contest for the event, and the winner got their choice of Mini Wings? Something along that scale, except instead of just drawing art, you're specifically drawing a float.
I dunno. I think it'd be a fun event idea.

This... this could actually be a pretty fun one-weekend event for SOP. One that lets all the groups break into teams and compete against each other.
