
It wasn't that the queen made Delyth feel intimidated outright, but rather that she wished to please so bad and make absolutely no mistakes that she worked herself into a frenzy. Needing to talk with her though... why? Logically speaking, it would probably have something to do with the birds' sickness, or perhaps the infusions? Sure, she had enough of them made, but were they strong enough or well-prepared enough? They weren't her forte in any manner, but she had hoped they might be sufficient.
Or was there another matter the queen wished to speak with her about? It couldn't be about not remembering where she'd last seen the other queen; most of the other flutters appeared to have no recollection themselves.
So why was it that she was being singled out?
Glancing down, she blinked and nearly blushed as she realized that through her internal prose, her food had remained largely untouched. Glancing to the side and hoping none had noticed anything from the norm, she quickly finished her meal. Brushing the residual crumbs from her lap, she placed her hands together as she ever so meekly approached the queen and ever so slightly moved to try and catch her attention. "Y-you... wished to-to speak with m-me, Queen Belwen?"
